The help of the holy spirit is personal???

I take ownership of it...and you can take

ownership of your beliefs...why the anger

You know this is my last post on this in

the baptist forum...time really will tell

and being patient. I stand on what I believe

with great risks comes either destruction or

great reward and so be it...when you ask the

Holy spirit to help you ..and a journey begins

and in that journey your eyes are opened up

I think it is real..because you have trusted

    the Lord for the answer

Godbless and goodbye if you want to bash me

    do so via private msg.

Perhaps 2 years from now if I am asked back
the world will have changed...either towards
your view or a nuetral view or my view.

I totally agree that acting on homosexual impulses is a sin. But I do not agree that the desire for one of the same sex is usually a choice. I did not choose to be a heterosexual, I just always have been. I doubt it is any different with the vast majority of homosexuals.

As a heterosexual I cannot act on my impulses because I find a woman to be attracted. I can only do so with my wife. I must control and direct my heterosexual impulses. A homosexual must also control his/her impulses even more so.

That may sound unfair to some but we haven't had a world that is fair since The Fall of man in the Garden of Eden.

God doesn't change and neither should we.
