I believe at last count we stand at 48 million innocent babies slaughtered in the USA alone. I don't know the world wide count, probably billions. How many innocent lives have been slaughtered in Iraq?

God Bless!

Far, far too many.

You are using a total count. To be fair we'd have to compare your number to all people killed in all wars throughout time.

To be consistent you'd have to count the number of abortions that took place duing the same time span as the war. This would include counting any fetus' killed if a woman was with child (by the popular theory here)...

To be even more fair you'd have to count the death's which were totally unrelated to the war. I say this because not all abortions have anything to do with birth control. Some are medically necessary.

Are you going to post the numerous calls for increased spending which would likely be funded by new taxes and the implied calls for new taxation/revenue?

That will give you something to do.

You are using a total count. To be fair we'd have to compare your number to all people killed in all wars throughout time.

And you have done this and this is why you made the original statement? Did you count the wars God Himself starts. The ones where He tells the Hebrews to go in and take the land killing all life, the women, the children, the livestock, leave nothing alive?

How about the future ones He will start when He draws the nation's armies into Armageddon? Do you know which ones are from God and which ones surprised Him?

Don't you see the end times prophecies coming to past by all eyes constantly watching the middle east and all of it's fightings?

Do you believe the USA, the most powerful nation in the world, can resist God's will and NOT get invovled in middle east affairs?

Do you actually believe there can be peace in the middle east before Jesus returns? Scripture declares No. When you do see peace, the false antichrist peace that is to come, look out, pray you are raptured outa here!

Why does any Christian HERE, who SHOULD know the scriptures concerning wars and rumors of wars, and the plan God has for the destruction of nations at Armageddon, probably even ours, believe that the USA can stay out of it?

IT AIN"T HAPPEN"IN!

Do what you can to save the innocent. Wars you are not stopping!

God Bless!

McCain should be easy.

The problem is that Senator McCain wants to start a war with Iran and keep our troops in Iraq for a hundred years. There is no way that I will vote for him in November.

I bolded the above, and I want you to answer honestly please....

Would you vote for a person that said all blacks were not human, even though they would agree with you on every other issue?

Would you vote for someone that said that it is OK to torture animals for pleasure, like Micheal Vick... but agree with you on every other issue?

Would you vote for someone who wanted to do away with women's rights, although you may agree with them on every other issue.

Would you vote for someone that thought we should kill all gays, although you agreed one everyother issue?

Would you vote for someone in the KKK? although their foreign policy is right on.

Would you vote for someone that supports Al Queda, although they would agree with your approach on the environment?

I doubt you would... ONE issue would be enough to stop you from voting for someone. ONE issue might not be enough to get your vote, but ONE issue would be enough to keep you from voting for them.

Abortion is that issue for conservative Christians.

Just as I would never vote for someone in the KKK, I would never vote for someone that believes it is OK to murder a baby in the name of choice.

Just as a animal abuser should be disqualified from running, so should someone that supports animal abuse.. . I have a little Jack Russell Terrior, and if Michael Vick was running, I would do every thing I could to keep him from winning...

Now for those of us that love kids, and can look in a little childs face and see God's love.... when we see politicians supporting a law that would make it legal to vacuum out that little baby's brains.... I'll admit it, it makes me ANGRY! :BangHead:

A person with that much evil does not deserve to be the leader of the free world... they are callous...

Pelosi, and her ilk will burn in Hell for supporting the murder of millions of innocent babies.

Now, I think that statement was a little harsher than anything McCain has ever said....

McCain looks civil compared to some things I have seen on here...
Great post Tim

Funny how Ken didn't touch this one with a ten foot pole! :BangHead:

He was joking, and I thought it was rather funny.

Sorry, but as a Christian I don't think that starting a war is something to be joking about.

No, he didn't.

"There must be no safe haven for those who plot to kill Americans."

Going after al Qaeda(the folks who attacked these United States on 9/11/2001) in a nation where that nation refuses to take action is not the same thing as attacking Iran(which had nothing to do with the folks who attacked these United States on 9/11/2001 being that most Iranians are Shiites and al Qaeda is a Sunni organization).

Now that was a good one, why is it no one worries about N Korea?

Because our troops and Seoul are too much at real risk if we attack North Korea.

I can provide the info in context, dragonfly.

"I understand that President Musharraf has his own challenges. But let me make this clear. There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al Qaeda leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won’t act, we will."

Further,

"I will not hesitate to use military force to take out terrorists who pose a direct threat to America. This requires a broader set of capabilities, as outlined in the Army and Marine Corps’s new counter-insurgency manual. I will ensure that our military becomes more stealth, agile, and lethal in its ability to capture or kill terrorists. We need to recruit, train, and equip our armed forces to better target terrorists, and to help foreign militaries to do the same."

http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post_group/ObamaHQ/CpHR

As one can see, Senator Obama did not say anything about bombing Pakistan. He referred to special forces-type operations - small, quick, and stealthy - against al Qaeda, not Pakistan.
