House Democrats Could Vote to Impeach Trump 'As Early As Mid-Next Week' - Conservative Brief

They wanted Pence to remove Trump, but that is not going to happen. This is a war against republicans and dont think it is not. They dont want Trump running again in 2024, maybe they think this is one way to do that.

If they can get the Senate to convict Trump and remove him from office, does not mean Trump could not run again for Potus. The senate would also have to vote to bar Trump from being allowed to run for Potus again, as otherwise he can still run in 2024.

I am sure that is their plan. How this will enrage voters, they dont care as those voters don't vote for them anyway, like 75 million of them. Maybe Manchin wont go along with any of that, as he also has to answer to his conservative and large numbers of republicans in West Virginia.

Manchin says in an interview that he’s heard Vice President Mike Pence is not likely to use the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. He also says he’s seen no evidence of enough Senate GOP support to oust Trump if the House impeaches him.

Manchin says that while he favors removing Trump as soon as possible, “We don’t need any more theater.” He says lawmakers should defer to President-elect Joe Biden’s need for the Senate to focus on confirming his Cabinet. And he says Twitter should bar Trump from its platform.

It would take 2/3 of the Senate to do this.

Well hopefully that means West Virginian's will vote Manchin out the next time he is up. He has just turned radical, or is coming out of the radical closet.
