How A Saved Believer May Get Left Behind At Pre Great Tribulation Rapture

Note the warning to the church at Thyatira for saved believers to repent or else be cast into the bed of the coming great tribulation for when they will be judged with death for their works in Revelation 2:22-23 and compare that with how God will judge every believer by what they build on that foundation in 1 Corinthians 3:10 and how anyone that defiles the temple of God which is our physical bodies per 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, then God will destroy, hence be judged with death according to our works, but still saved 1 Corinthians 3:15

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

So salvation is not lost but missing out on being partakers of the firstfruits of the resurrection is.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.....

......8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Thanks for the link. Seeing how I am a Non-Baptist Christian, I shall quote from there to this thread, Lord be willing.

With this basic "Principle" of sound exegesis in mind, I can tell you that Amillennialism is not a word that you will find in the scriptures. That is to say, unless you know exactly what the word delineates. Then you will discover that (like the word trinity), though it's not a word literally written within scripture, it is clearly a word that is used to define and describe the sound biblical doctrine that is.

But is the Trinity doctrine applying the whole truth from His words even though there is an equality within the One God in regards to the Father & the Son & the Holy Spirit being God, but is there equal authority within the One God & scriptures says no because the Father's will is to be done, and with the Son of God & the Spirit of God in compliance, is how "They" are the One God to establish a word in creation or to judge anyone by the Word of God per the permissive will of the Father.

That said, when Jesus said by His words which is in according to the will of the Father that we can only come to God the Father BUT by the Son, per John 14:6 then He meant it and the only way to honor the Father is to only honor the Son because the latter part of verse 23 leaves no wiggle room for honoring the Holy Spirit of the blessed Trinity per John 5:22-23 when we are not honoring the Son, then we are not honoring the Father at all.

The consequence is grave as the risk for climbing up another way is the action of a thief John 10:1 or a worker of iniquity Matthew 7:13-27 for why believers are exhorted to strive to enter through that straight gate or be left behind Luke 13:24-30.

I digress from the example in your quote but applying it from to your OP that not every sound doctrine has been proven through & through in application like the worship of the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son or the worship of the blessed Trinity without opposing scriptures, but long held church practices like Catholicism, has a way of not convincing believers the literal truth from scriptures in light of the creeds and the hymnals as a result from those creeds.

You posted "The Amillennial Christian does not support the idea that the Kingdom of Christ is an intangible, but that it is incontrovertibly real, effectual, substantive, factual and essential. The Kingdom is of a Spiritual, rather than worldly (earthly) or carnal nature. They believe that the Kingdom of Christ on earth is now being extended and advanced through the preaching of the Gospel of Christ, by His witnesses."

But in context of your reference of Revelation 20:4, Amillennial Christians may be overlooking something

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Why point that out? Because after that 1000 year reign, Satan will be loosed from the pit to stage a last rebellion and the generations coming from those raised up after the great tribulation, will be tempted to rebel with Satan for a spoil; having that place in the City of God, and many will side with him as the number of the sands of the sea, but God will destroy them.

How? Unless the power of the first death, physical death, was over them, just as it is on those resurrected after the great tribulation. It is those resurrected after the great tribulation that do not have the power of the second death over them BUT the generations coming from them do have that power of the second death over them if they side with Satan after that 1000 year reign of Christ.

How can those that be resurrected after the great tribulation have the power of the first death over them?

Revelation 22:1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Why would there be a need to eat from the tree of life then unless the power of the first death was over them? Granted, after the Great White Throne Judgment, death & hell is cast into the lake of fire, then that power of the first death is gone.

But wait a minute.

Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

So how can any generations be coming from those resurrected after the great tribulation, let alone those that were resurrected have need of eating from the tree of life unless there are 2 kinds of eternal resurrection that is in His House?

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

So those saints that did not depart from iniquity are the vessels unto dishonor that gets resurrected after the great tribulation whereas the vessels unto honor are the ones that ran that race by faith in Jesus Christ to finish His work in them to His glory to be received by the Bridegroom for when He will judge His House first at the pre great tribulation rapture event.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

So Christ the firstfruits are the vessels unto honor, the vessels of gold & silver raptured to live in that City of God whereas the vessels unto dishonor are the vessels of wood and earth, as the ones raised up after the great tribulation as they will marry and reign with Christ for a 1000 years in raising up the generations coming from them from all over the new earth in serving the King of kings.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

That explains the state of those raised up after the great tribulation as "the least" in the kingdom of heaven for why they were left behind as disqualified to attend the Marriage Supper in Heaven for being workers of iniquity.

Not sure how you can address those scriptures which kind of oppose that amillennial point of view in regards to that last rebellion of Satan when he is released from the pit after that thousand year of Christ..
