I am not sure what this has to do with anything?

You said the West is the tougher conference this year....what makes them the toughest this that was not present last year?

Well I am going to the game tonight. A freind fo mine called me and said he had an extra ticket to watch the Pistons play the Trailblazers (isn't that one of those weak western teams? ;) :D ).

Anyhow should be fun. I haven't been to the Palace in probably 12-13 years.

What else am I supposed to think you're saying when you say this?

Regardless, I mean no ill will here. If you took it that way, then I apologize.

KenH, I guess if you want to set yourself up as some kind of sports guru then go for it. As for me I just meant it will be a great game. In no way did I say it would be the season championship. I am just looking forward to seeing them meet each other. Sounds like your scared already.

I was at the game last night. The Palace is incredible. I loved being able to shout Deeeeeeetroit baaaaaaasketbaalllllll!!!.

The looked a bit lathargic last night though. probably coming off that tough double OT win in Memphis, but all that matters is the win and that is what they got.

I think Dallas, the Suns are playuing better and tougher this year then last. And that Indiana and Miami are not. Last year I would have put Indiana and miami as tougher teams compared to both the suns and the mavericks.

And if the east is weaker then the west it could be why the few good teams (in the west) had better records is all I am saying. They do play more teams (about 8-10) in their own division.

bottom line I don't think your figures prove either way.

Yeah they were a little ragged yesterday but never qave up or lost thier composer. You gotta keep thinking they are going to hit a dry spell soon, like last year, but then again?

Looking forward to a great game Sunday. We'll see if SA can knock that little swagger out of the Pison's walk.

Well, since I have been giving the Pistons fans a hard time I thought I should single them out. But since you mentioned it...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all non-Pistons fans. [IMG]

Congratulations. I didn't watch it but I assume that the Pistons must have played a nice game.

We'll see where things stand six months from now.

I saw the last quarter of the game. The Pistons looked great.

What is up with Tim Duncan's hair? [IMG]

I was wondering the same thing. Is he trying to do a Ben Wallace thing? He looked better with it the old way.

Anyone see any of the Lakers/Heat game? I was busy stuffying my face with prime rib instead of watching it, but I noticed the score was close.

I watched it 4His and it was close. Kind of a letdown after the "JV" game. I wonder how SA fans feel about people saying that the Piston, SA game was the JV game and the varsity game was the Heat Lakers game? alsos said that the last two championship games, one of them with Detroit were the two least watched championships. At the beginnning of the year they were saying it was going to be the Pacers and the Heat with the Heat taking taking the division. That has changed however.

But how does it feel not to get the respect of other team annoucers when your the champ? The Pistons I think are use to it, but how about the SA fans?
