How about this rule for those who have no sense of humor?

I notice that so many people will only post in just a handful of threads -if not just one or two.

Here is my suggestion - for every 25 serious posts - a member MUST post something in the game forum - or in the jokes and humor forums. And for every 200 posts - you must start a thread in the game forum or joke forum.

The only time the "forum" matters to me, is when I am initiating a post & I want to get it in the right one; & this is probably 50 or less over a 15+/- year period.

I think it's because most of what can be said without breaking a rule, is not funny.
