Becuase that is the way that Scripture describes it. I am satisfied to use those terms becasue Scripture uses them. Furthermore, knowledge of the future, or even predetermination of the future, does not render the future null and void. The acts still must take place. If the elect are pre-ordained, then their souls are in no danger of being disqualified. If the elect must go to heaven, even before they were born, then how can anyone ever say the elect have been saved? (As in 'salvation experience')
