None of the kids at my church can say my last name, so I was "Mr. Curtis". When I bacame a moderator, I thought the term "Mr." would be bossy, so I lowered myself to "Brother".

When I first came on bulletin boards way back in 99, I had NO clue about usernames. so I tried "annie" which is what my family calls me. Well, of course it was taken so it gave me suggestions. 'annsni" is my first name (Ann) with the first 3 letters of my last name. I'm sure others say it in a different way than I think of it - I think of it as my actual name so "Ann Sny" (rhymes with buy) but even DH calls me online "Ann Snee" :)

When I first joined the board, I chose the name I Am Blessed 16 because God had blessed me with 16 beautiful grandchildren.

The grandchildren started getting married and having my great grandbabies. So my name went from 16 to 17 to 18 to 19 to 20 to 21 to 22 to 23!

I fully expect it to keep changing as more grandchildren get married.

I will always be I Am Blessed...no matter what the number is. :)

Thanks for that Personal Testimony, Sister Spinach.
I had thought perchance (it proved false) that you might have started with SPIN and worked up to 'SPINach". (more than one person has done that at BB /Baptist Board/ .)

As for myself, me moniker is me name.
The picture is a picture of me 20 pounds lighter.

    My Signature is my belief:

I chose my name from a varied selection of names:

    SaggyMama (I ain't a mama)
SaggyLady (I didn't want to be mixed up with LadyEagle)
SagMeister (Dr. Boob calls me that anyway)
    Sagster (yeah, whatever.)
    NotSoSaggyWoman (nah.)

The better of them was SaggyWoman.

Actually, the Saggy is a take on my last name. When I was in college, a "friend" of mine teased me and called me "Saggy" and it became somehow the thing to call me. One day as a Junior or Senior, I was walking across campus, and a good friend of mine yelled "Saggy Woman" across campus. I laughed and it kind of stuck with me.

Seriously, it has nothing to do with anything that sags.

Maybe so, but coupled with the name of the Dr you mentioned, it provokes a loud laughter from me.

Well my dear, you take the nautical term "saggy". It just means leaning leeward; the side sheltered from the wind...You keep yourself free from the srong-winded blokes who like to rabbit on about nothing..

    Cheers,

    Jim

Seeing how I weigh over 250 pounds.. my screenname is a wee bit sarcastic...

A youth group gave me the nickname ober 10 yrs ago... and I liked it.
One day I may fit into my name!

How was New Year's breakfast at the all-you-can-eat buffet?

When we were introduced to one of the men in the church he called me Padre. It stuck and 14 years later most of the folks in these parts call me Padre. I'm bi-vo and work part-time as a cleaner at the high school. My boss there pronounces it pad-REE.
