How Do You Know If You Are Born Again?

If I were to take a poll among the Christian population of born again believers. I know I would get many variations as to how to become born again. Now I believe there has to be only one way to become born again.
I would like to read as to what the experts of the word of God have to say pertaining to this subject.

Kit I am no expert but the bible tells us how to know. There are many passages but here are a couple.
1John 2:3
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1John 3:24
And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Also you might want to listen to this message to understand what it means to be keeping the commandments.

Do you have to obey the commandments with all your heart with all your mind with all your soul and with all your strength?

The scripture says this;
1John 2:3
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1John 3:24
And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

I ask you not the bible.

You seem to be confused as to what you are asking. Are you asking how someone becomes born again? If so, read this:

Or are you asking how one knows if one is born again? If so, try this:

Kit my entire life and belief system now that I am saved is based on the bible so that is all I have to offer you as an answer. I just do not hold to the doctrines of men as some do.

What did men based their salvation on before the bible came about?

Well from the time of the beginning of the church at Pentecost until the first bible the same thing we base it on today. The printing of the bible did not change how it was done, it only allowed more to read it and understand it.

How do you know...were you on Earth before the bible?

The same as ...What? Explain this to me.

To ask how people were saved before the Bible was written can be superfluous. The Bible records the creation narrative in great detail. It goes on to explain the major events that took place prior to Moses writing the Pentateuch. When Moses did write the first five books of the Bible, He covered that portion of creation and human history that God wanted revealed to men. Included in that history are these words about Abraham, "And Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness" (Gen. 15:6). Salvation has always been by grace through faith. Old Testament saints were saved by believing God's promises; i.e. Abraham believing God's promise of siring a great nation. The birth of Jesus Christ, and his subsequent death and resurrection, brought to completion the promises contained during the time of the Old Testament and under the Old Covenant. The Bible records all of this.

Now, you have to a question to answer. Do you accept the biblical account of history or do you not? If you don't then, as I said, your question is superfluous. If you do then you have Scripture for your answer.

1 Timothy, Chapter 2
11:Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12:But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Yes, I am not learning or teaching. I'm also not in church.

Are you afraid to speak to a woman?

I'll ask the question again because maybe the answer is A:

Is English your second language?

A. Yes

B. No

I do not talk to another man's wife unless I have to.
