I tell you I have never sipped alcohol, I wear a suit and a tie to church, I go to church 3 times a week, I never dance, I do not fellowship with the Way of the Master types as some of them have long hair and listen to evil CCM. I have not kissed a girl before I was married because its a temptation of Satan to fall into immorality. I do not go to movie theaters, and I believe I am right before God. Also I only read and preach from the KJV which is the best translation. My personal piety is right before God!

What do you think? Is this not the argument of many IFB and some Pentecostal / Holiness types?

I think you have no earthly clue what IFB types think.

I know exactly what many of them think.

The Way of the Master is evil because Todd Friel often plays evil contemporary Christian Music.

What' choo wanna do dude? Do you wanna be happy? do you wanna merely lambast IFB's? (Welcome to that club....you're member no. 567,672.6....or.....do you need to get a grip?

Lemme clue you in...do you know what your REAL problem is?.....

You've NEVER sipped alcohol <---thus you're a bore

You DON'T DANCE!!!....take her to your local seasonal "Riverdance" or "Lord of the Dance" <----The're both good...then...................................DANCE with her man.

As far as movies.....take her to see the next installment of "The Hobbit"....Movie Theatres aren't sinful...

I ALSO dig KJV dude.....but men are instructed to "dwell with them in undertanding".... <---That's a KJV quote: And it means (In the real Universe)...get a little bit of romance in your staid and boorish existence, because your woman needs it, demands it, and if she ever becomes your WIFE....she has a right to it.

Women need to be "wooed"....and they have a right to be "wooed"...by their husbands.. Good LOR!!!
Some woman will back me up.....they aren't impressed by your staid up-rightness......they are moved by the fact that you are a stammerring fool! in their presence.

Read Song of Solomon again.....I mean....REALLY read it...
That's what will get you your wife...forget IFB preachers....it's about S*X (it really is).

I think that is the motivation behind some individuals who stray towards legalism. Very few professed Christians will actually say those things. If they actually believe that their piety somehow earns God's favor it will come out in their actions more than their statements.

One has a right relationship with God because of his union with Christ. Period. End of story. All Christ's righteousness becomes mine. All my unrighteousness becomes His.

The morality of certain actions is a different story altogether. You may no longer think certain things are evil, but you still may be thinking that your right standing before God is based on the fact that you think you are not doing evil things.
