I do not know if the tagging system works or not in this forum or somehow when you add more than one tag, it nulls & voids its effect and so.... here's hoping in the Lord Jesus Christ to bring your attention to the OP & post # 5 & # 6 & # 8 for FYI

Since there is a report that holy laughter movement does happen in the Baptist churches, the late Dr. Roger Barrier did not discern it as apostasy, even though he did say not to pursue it, and yet this came about seeking a filling of the Spirit which I believe is the cause and effect for that phenomenon to occur.

What Is 'Holy Laughter' and Is it Biblical?

Although the Southern Baptist convention condemned it, it seems they are not discerning why God is allowing that strong delusion to occur in the Baptist churches in the first place.

Taking your eyes off of Christ in worship is why this is considered suffering a thief to break through.

Wake up.
I don't believe what is called holy laughter to be Biblical in any way.

@Scarlett O.

MOD NOTE You can tag multiple people in one post. No need for multiple posts. Can't figure out why you are tagging people. They will either see it in the new posts and read it or not.

Not sure why I was tagged. I'm not interested in the holy laughter movement nor Hindism. The posts you cited for me to read are far too long.

Sorry.

Brother @ChristB4Us,
Issues in posts #5, #6, and #8 are multiple.

It is my persuasion, only what can be found in our 66 book Bible as recognized on it's whole as the sole written God breathed final authority for the true faith and right practice.

I prefer to mainly deal with one issue at a time.

Because you are Baptists as the OP declares holy laughter as happening even in Baptist churches

The common denominator that I see with the Lord's help is taking your eyes off of Christ in worship is why this is considered suffering a thief to break through as happening in the Baptist churches & other denominations as well.

I am glad that you guys have not experienced it but I did when I went on vacation with my folks to visit my aunt in Missouri. It was not a Baptist church, but an independent community church.

It was in high school when I had experienced the same rudiment in the world as "instead of Christ" when Ernest Angeley's Healing Crusade came to Victory Baptist church in Ohio, forgot what city it was, but the experienced is mentioned in post #8 as the focus was on him touching people on the forehead to cause them to go backwards while announcing the Holy Spirit falling on them to get that healing with a :Whoo hoo...!!!"

All I got was a tickling sensation in my dead ear as I was feeling vibrations but that was it. Then the next day after school, I experienced a paralysis after taking a nap and I had to call on Jesus to deliver me from it and He did.

Although, I would not doubt that was where I got my ulcers from, but I will know for sure when I see Him face to face one day.

Hope the Lord is informing you of the necessity to narrow the way in the worship place to the Son if you wish to come to God the Father by John 14:6 and to actually honor Him by in according to His will per John 5:22-23 because any other way is a work of iniquity per John 10:1 & Matthew 7:13-14 that can land a believer in being left behind per Luke 13:24-30

Brother @ChristB4Us,

It is my persuasion, only what can be found in our 66 book Bible as recognized on it's whole as the sole written God breathed final authority for the true faith and right practice.

The issue is what antichrist means which is "instead of Christ". So in practice, coming to God the Father by any other way than the Son is "instead of Christ" John 14:6 and honoring the Father any other way than honoring the Son is "instead of Christ". John 5:22-23

The point of it is that principle of instead of Christ by applying the Trinity doctrine as if it is okay to ignore His words and try to come to God by way of the Holy Spirit or by way of the blessed Trinity is why God is permitting those strong delusion to occur.

God will permit the spirits of the antichrist to come in and visit with signs and lying wonders whenever believer's eyes are anywhere else instead of Christ.

So the issue is discerning the cause and effect of the holy laughter movement & why it is happening even in Baptist churches and that is what the church gets for coming to God the Father instead of Christ or honoring God the Father by any other way instead of Christ.

So when it happens in your church as it is prophesied to occur in droves in the latter days per 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 & 1 Timothy 4:1-2 for why the church is at risk of being left behind per Luke 13:24-30 for the place they came to approach God the Father by instead of Christ. That makes sense for why He said I know ye not whence ye are, depart from me, ye workers of iniquity because they did not come to God the Father to the only way provided, His Son.

All believers need to narrow the way back to the straight gate or risk being left behind.
