Mine is the same. About an hour fifteen minutes.

We have five services each weekend (2 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday). Each one lasts about an hour and 40 minutes or so.

If you haven't struck IL in a reasonable amount of time ..... it is time to "Quit boring!"
As a pastor, I would love to have had the convenience of going over an hour. But, there were always members who wanted it over and done with in precisely 60 minutes. After all, they wanted nothing to stop them from getting to the local restaurant before the Methodists, Catholics, Lutherans and other Baptist churches.
I always believed the service should be led by the Spirit, and if the Spirit is in fact in charge and leading, there are no time frames.

10:00am - 11:15am...sometimes shorter, rarely longer. Our people know it will be over an hour, but not much more. Still out before a lot of other churches, but the people who don't go to church still beat us to Bob-Evans.

Ours starts at 10 and hubby aims to end around 11:15 - 11:20. 95% of the time we are within that time. It is a good amount, I believe. About 20 minutes of music/worship, 15 minutes of prayer, offering (when we do another song) and announcements (very few - we don't like announcements) and then he usually starts preaching around 10:40 or so. That leaves 35-40 minutes for preaching.

This summer, the service started at 10 and is sometimes over by 11: 20. Now, I work back with the children sometimes and the last child is picked up around 11:55 am.

I am not taking a pop-shot at anyone, but why only 60-75 minutes for a service? I am not saying you have to stay three hours, but people can go and sit and watch a BB, FB, baseball game, NASCAR race, and they go on for at least 2.5 hours. I find it sad that people seem to want to rush in and rush out of church. Church is the one place I find refuge from the storms of life. I want to stay as long as the Spirit is moving....

Only if the spirits moving dude...otherwise its useless.
Because we don't need to fill the time with more than that. We have worship, a good prayer time and awesome teaching of the Word, if I do say so myself (hubby is the pastor) and then we have at least an hour of fellowship afterwards. But in addition to Sunday being the Lord's Day, it's also a day for families and so we encourage families to spend time together after church and enjoy each other. Our days are so busy that it is nice to have a day to just reconnect with each other.

In the past I have been to services where everyone that could carry a tune and even those that couldn't thought they had to sing a special song, as they called it. They would always start out by saying, " The old devil tried to cheat me out of a blessing by telling me to keep my seat" And then came the long testimony service, people popping up like pop corn telling how the Lord blessed them that week or some coming off with, " I just want to say something for the Lord, seems like others that claim to be Christians can't say nothing". OK, after the preaching a long drawn out altar call. Now we are getting down to the home stretch the pastor ask if anyone else has anything to say. Oh no! so now all the hitch hiker preachers began to preach pacing the floor. When will it end, when will it end. It ended when I left and never went back.

Agreed, which gives me pause over churches that have a service at 9am, then one at 10:30am, and one at 12 noon. How do they know that God will be done with them within that allotted time? Seems to me that it's putting a limiter on God.
My church starts Sunday School at 10am, regular service begins at 11am, and we're typically done around 12:30pm, though it can vary.
Why do you end Sunday school before 11. Is that not putting a limit on God in the same way you suggested in an earlier post?
