How many Arminians are there?

Its not a calvinist forum. There are only one or two that claim to be actual arminians. It appears you might hold to the idea that if you are not a calvie then you are an arminian. Such is not true.

;)
The fact of the matter is that I am just a Christian from the Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists, and I understand this well, but I was wondering how many Arminians there are, if I actually communicated with the Calvinists myself.

By the way, who are you? Calvinist or Arminian?

I realized that this is a Calvinist forum, but it's interesting to know how many Arminians are here?
From what I've seen in the short time that I have been here, there are few of us "Calvinistic" Baptists who post here.
Those denominations include "Primitive Baptists", "Missionary Baptists", "Sovereign Grace Baptists", and "Reformed Baptists".

To me, this forum is essentially composed of " Traditionalist / Provisionist" Baptists ( those who believe what's often called "evangelicalism" here in America ) in its membership:

In other words, most of the people that I see regularly posting here are of the belief that God offers salvation to everyone,
and those who choose to believe the Gospel are saved at point-of-belief and kept by the power of God ( Eternal Security ).
Denominations that teach this in the United States include most Baptist churches in general, "Independent Baptist" / "Independent, Fundamental Baptist", "Evangelical Free" churches and many non-denominational churches.

The last time I looked, the Southern Baptist Convention included a few "Calvinistic" Baptist churches,
but the majority also hold to what is described above in "Traditionalism" / "Provisionism".

"Arminian" Baptists in America ( and several other countries ) that hold to loss of salvation, for example, are generally called "Free Will Baptists".
Other denominations that agree with and teach similarly to them include "Anabaptists" ( especially in Canada ) and "Churches of Christ" who also baptize by full immersion but agree with all that John Wesley taught about salvation.

I hope that you find this helpful.:)
