Figures Show Stark Difference Between Arrests At D.C. Black Lives Matter Protest And Arrests At Capitol Hill
According to Forbes Magazine (updated 8 Jan)
;
52 arrests were made for the storming of the capitol
But: Between May 30 and June 2 2020, the height of the racial justice protests,
427 "unrest-related" arrests were made in D.C.,
An estimated 14,000 arrests made across 49 U.S. cities during anti-racism protests last summer, according to the Washington Post.
(Note: that is an average of 285 per city)
So 285 per city - vs 52 this past week; does this mean that police were tougher on
the race riots vs the "politics" riots?
