There is more than one text being referred to as the TR and the TR has readings unique to it. Readings not supported by the common readings of the New Testament texts. Not KJVO, but how many would hold that a valid translation must come form the Kjv Greek text line, hence none off Critical texts valid?
Would you say that a legit translation must come thru that tree of Greek texts? There is more than one text being referred to as the TR and the TR has readings unique to it. Readings not supported by the common readings of the New Testament texts.
Yeah. But not having that information leaves us at the mercy of the work done by the Greek scholars and what information they may leave us. NA, UBS, MT, THGNT, f35, and what ever Greek text notes we are given by them in such works.Would you say that a legit translation must come thru that tree of Greek texts?

Enem though we know that the TR has no agreed standard text, and has areas where can and should be amended?Yeah. It comes down to some kind of textual criticism.Enem though we know that the TR has no agreed standard text, and has areas where can and should be amended?
True, but is there not enough of the bible in the modern versions to still be considered as being the word of God to us also?It comes down to some kind of textual criticism.
