    And finally, I leave you with this last thought from scripture because I think it fits appropriately the time in which we live:

    2 Peter 2

    So, then who is right? If you differ from a Southern Baptist in theology, which one of you is going to heaven? What assurance do you have that your theology is PERFECT?

    Jesus talks about bearing fruit, so I can kinda see where they come up with their theology.

    Are these people not saved? Isn't that what it boils down to?

    If someone believes that Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead, and if this person has placed Him as Lord of his life, is he saved?

    In the context of the passage in question, it is very, very clear that the doctrine of Christ that John is speaking of is that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. Those are the deceivers that he is talking about. THAT is the doctrine of Christ that can demonstrate whether a man belongs to God, according to II John

    According to R. G. Lee a "few" years back only 5% of the SBC were actually saved. At the same time I would have said 25% of the Independents, but now R. G. would probably only give the SBC 2% and maybe the IFBs are 5%.

    Why are the IFB's more spiritual than SB's? What gave Lee the authority to make such claims?

    Like I have been saying on this board ever since I joined it... THAT GOD WILL SAVE ALL HIS GRACE WROUGHT BLOOD BOUGHT CHILDREN!... He will save them all!... So I as a Primitive Baptist and those of us don't worry about that as it is God's business... He will save his children when he will... anytime he will... any way he will... by any means he will... without the help of man he will... That is our doctrine and that is our God!... Btw did not the Angel declare... Thou shall bring forth a Son and thou shall call he name Jesus... For he shall save his people from their sins!... A multitude an unnumerable host no man can number as the sand of the seas and the stars of the sky... Your figure Dr. Bob is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the redeemed till time shall be no more!... To each his own!... Brother Glen [IMG]

    Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
