...posters on here are considered non-white?

White is a color you know. I'm white. I'm just wondering what the make-up on this forum is. Are there any (minorities) who contribute here on a regular basis?

There are certainly people of color who believe in and have accepted Jesus as their savior, no? As such, I was merely interested in their perspective regarding many of the topics/issues/etc., posted here.

Different cultures have different praticeses -I have have had interaction with people of many cultures, both from my military time overseas and as a driving instructor. Many of my students attended Syracuse Univ and were from differen countries.

The first example that came to mind was a young lady from India - who was a Christian- I attended with her one week at an evangelical church. I found it interesting that most all ladies wearing a head covering ( a scarf) for religious reasons. At the moment, I do not remember the reason.

Christians in Germany see no problem with drinking alcholic - unlike their Americian brothers.

Even here in the US - Black churches tend to be more "spirited" in their music and preaching than many white churches tended to be. (please note - I am being very general in this paragraph)

Many more examples - but I'm sure you get the ideal.

I am not saying one way of worship is better than another. Normally it is based on the way you were brought up and/or feel confortable with.

I just happen to think a person is more enlighten when he understands other varations.

Which is why I thought it to be an odd question. As Christians, our perspectives should be based in God's word, not in skin color. We're not receiving discernment from skin color so I'm trying to figure out what the basis of the question is?

Now I know for a fact that there are certain individuals on here in the politics and news sections who would love to know these things so that they can say this is why certain people say what they do.

I don't see how skin color is really going to add to any conversation. It would definitely detract as certain individuals have already made ASSUMPTIONS about some of us with whom they disagree.

Those are cultural things though. On the things of God, knowing someone's skin color isn't gonna make that big of a difference if any.

Green is the only color I see! Hooah!

Actually, with the rise of PC and some black people insisting on being called African American, two things have come up for me. Firstly, most of the black people I work with don't have heritage in Africa, but rather are islanders and hate when people refer to them as African American. Second, I insist that I'm not white. I'm either Euro-American or Germanic-Irish-American.

Mine at Ft. Lost-on-the-Woods said the same thing. I made the mistake of saying "We're all assigned to rotary wing after this ... he can't see our uniforms."

That's when I learned not to open my mouth in formation -- or anywhere else, for that matter.
