Luther best work.....Aaron, thank you!
Just finished reading some of The Bondage of the Will. Salvation is all of God and none of me!
Also Romans 5:19.
Regarding working on the 7th day, why yes I do. So what?
Wrong! I have willingly and freely broken all. I also define sin as reality, but since you are not in touch with reality, how could you possibly know. You bring up the TEN commandments with a statement indicating that's how you know someone's sins, and now you come out and say you willfully break at least one. That's what.
What if your faith has been broken what do you do then? By the way hello my name is Ted and I really appreciate the thing's you have said in various posts I've been watching and reading for a while and now just became a member. Hope all is well my friendFaith is not a gift we give to God. Faith is a gift God gives to us. )
If it can be broken it is not "the faith" nor the faith given to us by God which is unbreakable. So it must have been your own faith. My advice is cast it aside as an inferior faith. Our faith is only as strong as what or Who we place our faith in. When our faith is in the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient God of all Creation, the "El Shaddai" (The Almighty) - it is as strong as He is. If our faith is in something lesser, such as parents, home, upbringing, church, preacher, etc., then it is no stronger than that object. What if your faith has been broken what do you do then?

I agree!Luther best work.....
Sure. Can I go into some questions here with you?
Isn't it faith + obedience that gets us to heaven? We believe in Christ and obey His commands. Otherwise, we don't love Him, and without love, we perish.
If it is faith + Obedience, than the question is how much and how long to obey? That gets us pretty close to RCC doctrine on the issue!Faith is it. Faith in the finished work of the cross is what gets us to heaven and it is a gift from God. Obedience (works) is a sign that the faith is real. Like breathing is a sign of a body that is alive. A dead body can be made to "breathe" but it is not a real breath from a living body and when the outside actions are taken away, it stops.
It certainly can be, if it is work that is obliged for either forgiveness and / or penitence as the RCC obliges. If it is faith + Obedience, than the question is how much and how long to obey? That gets us pretty close to RCC doctrine on the issue!
