Sounds like you have a brilliant pastor, I really like the idea of the college credits on the Wed. night. A friend of mine has tried to get a college started in his local church, many were excited at first, but sorry to say it fizzled after a few months. It's hard to be at church an extra night every week, so the idea your pastor is using is great!

Whenever the church doors are open. I'm afraid that I will miss something from the Lord if I don't go.

    As often as possible.

I fume when required to work when there are church services as I am missing the most important meal i can get.

The Lord always has something for me in each message. Why would i want to stay away? What is in the world more attractive than hearing the word of God, seeing souls saved, men called into full time service, lives changed by the power of God.

I am too dense to understand why anyone would want to stay away from church?

I attend the morning sunday service, sunday night service, I try to make tuesday night bible study, and I go to the wednesday night prayer meeting.

I love my church, I love my church family, and I love being with christians...

Once a week. And some of us get together during the week, too, but not at the meetinghouse.

A member of a church should be there whenever the doors are open. A christian needs to be feed and will starve to death on just sunday morning preaching. God wants to bless his children and when we don't go we miss ours. So I attend each service unless I am unable for some reason. It hurts the whole church when one person is missing. ~Sheila~

I generally attend Sunday School in Japanese at 9:30, and then both the Japanese and English services (I have to leave the Japanese service a bit early, usually after the offering or the praise song, in order to get to the English service on time, or if I stay for the whole Japanese service I miss the opening hymn and often the praise songs of the English service; also on second Sundays I often leave the English service before the sermon in order to eat the fellowship meal with the Japanese congregation) at Japanese Baptist Church. In the evening I usually attend the informal hymn-sing-prayer-Bible-study-and-food thing at Fremont Community (née Baptist) Church (which is where I am a member).

'Tweentimes I may attend some "other" service, often at an "other" church. For example, on Good Friday I attended the Tenebrae service at Blaine Memorial United Methodist (which was a joint service with Japanese Baptist; the JBC pastor preached the sermon; I was a reader, in English).

Of course, since Fremont is my local church, the answer is really "usually only Sunday evenings"; however, as a member not only of my local church but of the universal church, I am not limited to my local church for worship opportunities (or ministry ones, either). And I forgot to mention that I sometimes attend the Wednesday morning Bible study at JBC (in English), and am also involved in biweekly premarital counseling and a biweekly membership/discipleship class there (I'm not seeking membership, but my fiancée is, and we attend together).
