Oh shut up. Tired of your usual grammar natzi games Rolfe.
So I take it your answer is No, you are not willing to clean the church, mow lawns, empty trash cans, wash windows, etc.

If I had to guess I'm going to say you are going to claim you work to much to do any cleaning for your church.

Evan, I hope that you wake up soon and realize that you have squandered years of help that many people on this site have tried to offer (most of it you asked for).

Ok. Why start this thread?

I already said why he started it. To toot his own horn. To try and make him stand above us because we aren't preaching.

It wasn't "How do I get more involved in church?". It was "How you should get more involved in Church".

He blocked me because he knows what I've said is right and truth hurts. I was exactly like Evan was 10 years ago. :(

Evan, are you drinking your lemonade while on this site? Some of your responses begin to make me wonder.

So, you are going to ignore everyone on here

He gives quite a bit of good advice. You should listen to some of it and apply it.
Not only JonC - but many others as well- with a lot of practical experience over a period of many years.

If you want to get more "involved" with your home church, look for a need and fill it. You don't need to be out front and center. My husband and a couple of his friends serve by being "security" on Sundays and Wednesdays. It's a HOT job right now in the desert, but they do it. I'm a little more "up front" because I sing in the choir. But, again, in the choir, I'm just one of about 40 voices.

Humble yourself, take the trash out. Mop the bathroom floors. Pick up the left over bulletins in the pews. Go visit the shut-ins (always an amazing ministry). Remember, he who is least shall be the greatest in the Kingdom. God has plenty of people wanting to be in the spotlight...but not many at all who are willing to do the necessary dirty work.
