How Will the Tea Party Faction Spin The GOP Failure?

I'm going to predict how the Ted Cruz, Michele Bachmann, Mike Lee, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, etc. wing of the Republican Party will spin the failure to get anything except a crumb at their fools errand of trying to hold the government hostage to extract concessions on ObamaCare. And here it is:

"We had Obama right where we wanted him but we didn't hold out long enough. We should have gone past the October 17th debt deadline. If we just would have held out longer we would have gotten what we wanted."

BTW, the latest news on what the GOP is "demanding" in negotiations is a clause requiring a stricter accounting of the income levels of people signing up for ObamaCare. In other words, the Republicans want more government intrusion into people's private lives.

The Tea Party can only try and clean house in the GOP. The regular GOP does not want to play the role of loyal opposition and say no to everything Democrat. That is what an opposition party is supposed to do. The Tea Party emerges as the coalition who is willing to put up a struggle. The GOP emerges as weak and heading into oblivion, whipped into compliance by the Mormon Harry Reid and the leftie poor little rich girl Pelosi (preferring abortion to communion in the RCC).

I'm not sure which is worse: the fact that you accuse someone else of "spinning", while you, yourself, are guilty of poisoning the well, or that you don't know that Glenn Beck isn't a Republican.

You do realize that he's calling for the defunding of the GOP, right?

Michele Bachmann is a TPINO. Tea Partier in name only.

She showed her true colors when she voted in favor of extending the patriot act. Her knife is still in the Tea Party's back.

Hannity a Tea Partier? Only if you spell tea party N-E-O-C-O-N.

Beck is a media con man and shape shifter that will assume any role his corporate sponsors think will divide us into bickering factions and keep us from taking control of our govt back from the corporitos and banksters that have hijacked it.

Yes, for the first time in months I watched cable TV news last night and during a Q&A segment with a studio audience he said "I'm a Tea Partier".

Of course he did his neocon act put his ratings in the toilet. So now he's trying to pull a Glenn Beck to save his career.

No, thankfully I don't know very much about Glenn Beck. When did he abandon the Republican Party?

Have anything to say about the OP?

Complaints Flood CNN After Beck Smears Ron Paul Supporters As Terrorists

Why are Glenn Beck and David Horowitz a threat to America?

a) They openly call for the U.S. military to be used to suppress freedom of speech, a complete violation of the first amendment and everything that America stands for. This in itself exposes them as anti-American traitors.

b) They openly state, without any evidence whatsoever to substantiate the claim, that Lew Rockwell, libertarian and anti-war groups are "totally in bed with the Islamofascists," which could prompt their nutcase followers into physical violence and perhaps even assassination attempts against anti-war and libertarian leaders as well as Ron Paul supporters.

c) If there are real terrorist groups in America, as we are constantly told, then Beck and Horowitz are diverting attention away from them by fingering peaceful protest and activist groups, leaving genuine terrorists under less scrutiny by law enforcement and the FBI.

CONTINUE . . .

Glenn Beck is not a libertarian. He's an authoritarian posing as a libertarian or whatever else might keep him relevant depending on the mood of the country at any given time. He's a shape shifter that'll morph into what ever form his corporate bosses want him to take on.

Oh yeah the OP.

Your OP is a distracting diversion based on mass media generated false narratives.

The Tea Party was co opted by neocons and authoritarians like Glenn Beck, Michele Bachmann, and Sarah Palin long ago. Libertarians don't call for needless wars and silencing dissent and they don't habitually provide cover for a monetary system that's designed to transfer wealth from the many to the few.

You can allow yourself to be distracted and diverted by the mass media's false narratives all you want. That's up to you. But you'll only look more foolish when the truth comes out. And it always does.

Divert, distract, confuse, etc. Classic.

OP was about what the Tea Party will say about the agreement reached today. Care to take a whack at it?

I gave you my opinion on your false debate already. It's based on a false narrative the "tea party" was co opted by the neocons and other authoritarians long ago.

There is no "tea party" in the republican party. There's just a couple of libertarian leaning constitutionalists like Cruz and Paul. The rest who are claiming to be "tea partiers" are imposters looking to cash in on the liberty movement. Everyone that has been involved in or closely followed Ron Paul and the liberty movement knows this.

Even Mitt Romney tried to associate himself with the liberty movement by mimicking Ron Paul's message of liberty. It didn't work. The real Ron Paul and liberty movement tea partiers spotted him as a fake right off the bat.

What's the point in speculating about a "group" of imposters posing as something they are not? You can keep chasing shadows all you want but it's a waste of time and energy which is exactly what this co opt divide and conquer strategy is designed to do. Keep us distracted and chasing shadows and imaginary enemies till the elite have taken complete control.

He'll say the same thing he's been saying for decades. His message never changes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLn_7fZlXJg

And you'll keep ignoring his warnings the same as you've ignored all the founder's warnings.

Yeah yeah, I know this is off topic you don't want to look at the roots and causes of our problems you only want to find ways to keep yourself distracted and diverted away from them.

The better question is how will the Dems spin it. The Tea Party folks are straight shooters. No spin needed. Which is why the average politician doesn't like them. It is why they are demonized.

The Tea Party will have to say that they were defeated by the greatest living Democrat politician--Dingy Harry Reid, aided by John McCain.

The average person doesn't like them. 49% of all people view the Tea Party unfavorably. And only 25% of young people view the Tea Party favorably, down from 37% favorable just four months ago.

Pew poll: Tea Party support hits all-time low Oct. 16, 2013 | 9:33 PM

WASHINGTON, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- U.S. public approval of the Tea Party has hit an all-time low, with 49 percent viewing the movement unfavorably, a poll released Wednesday indicated.

The American people need to be the adult in the room come the next two elections and vote all these bums out. If I keep running up a credit card to its limit and ask for more my dad would have cut it up in front of me. That is what needs to happen or this Great country will fall. I pray the Tea Party kicks butt over the next 4 years and brings our country back to reality. Quit giving Democrats an unending check book, they will always give it away to gather more voters.
