How Will the Tea Party Faction Spin The GOP Failure?

As a nation we're probably already :to collectivized divided and dependent on big government to restore the republic. Americans have learned to love their chains. Look at how whacked out the liberals have become lately. They're on a power trip and have morphed into a bunch of brain damaged authoritarians that can't stand anyone or anything that might be an obstacle to them gaining total control.

They hate Christians conservatives gun owners any form of dissent or individual liberty. The state is their god and they are preparing to use it against us. All it'll take is the right crisis and all hell will break loose.

We all saw what happened when people couldn't use their Chase bank food stamps for a few hours.

The Tea Party can only try and clean house in the GOP. The regular GOP does not want to play the role of loyal opposition and say no to everything Democrat. That is what an opposition party is supposed to do. The Tea Party emerges as the coalition who is willing to put up a struggle. The GOP emerges as weak and heading into oblivion, whipped into compliance by the Mormon Harry Reid and the leftie poor little rich girl Pelosi (preferring abortion to communion in the RCC).

Bravo, LOL. And.......wonder which one is a bigger abomination in the sight of the Lord, abortion or RCC communion.

I'm going to predict how the Ted Cruz, Michele Bachmann, Mike Lee, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, etc. wing of the Republican Party will spin the failure to get anything except a crumb at their fools errand of trying to hold the government hostage to extract concessions on ObamaCare. And here it is:

"We had Obama right where we wanted him but we didn't hold out long enough. We should have gone past the October 17th debt deadline. If we just would have held out longer we would have gotten what we wanted."
It's not a spin. It's true. The reason for the "failure" is no spine.

If this is indeed what they decide will be their narrative, it will be the absolute truth. They didn't cave. The rest of the party caved.

Yes, no spine is the reason. However, numbers do matter. The ones with spine were too small in number to effect change. The Republican Party is in need of radical transformation. That means no RINOs and more elected Tea Party types. Senators like McConnell, McCain, Collins, etc. have got to go.

Stay tuned for:

How will the Socalist Party Faction spin the Democrat Party Failure?

All this business about Democratic socialists or communists is simply not reality. It's reminiscent of McCarthy's claims in the 50's. When people can't win with the facts they start making up their own "facts." Fox News does this every day and so does Rush. Listeners begin to think that their "facts" are true when in reality they are propaganda.

Losers in the Government Shutdown Battle
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...inners-and-losers-of-the-government-shtudown/

* The GOP brand: By the end, nearly three-quarters of Americans disapproved of how congressional Republicans had handled the budget showdown in a Washington Post-ABC poll. Congressional Republicans hit new lows in overall approval and, according to most polls, lost the blame game for the shutdown as well. The best news for Republicans is that this all happened in the fall of 2013, not the fall of 2014, meaning they have a year to rebrand themselves in a more favorable way in the eyes of the public.
* Our system of government: Does anyone think this is how our government should work? Does anyone think we won’t be right back in this mess early next year? The government has proven over and over in the last few years that it is simply incapable of doing big things or, if we are being honest, even medium things. Ugh.

During the shutdown, 85 percent of government stayed open despite the hoopla reported in the media. Government is now 100 percent open. Debt-ceiling deadlines have been averted, but the real problem remains: a $17 trillion debt and a president who continues to pile on new debt at a rate of $1 million a minute.

The government shutdown occurred because Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid allows the Senate to lurch from deadline to deadline without passing a single appropriations bill. Had he done his job and passed each of the 12 appropriations bills, the government could have stayed open.

Opening government has not resolved the big picture — a debt problem so large that it dwarfs all deadlines and threatens the very fabric of the nation. What remains is an unsustainable debt, precisely the problem that motivated me to run for office.

As "spun" by Rand Paul.

What's the democratic spin?

Republican House members who are not long-term political careerists and who have not sworn allegiance to the Democrat faction of the corporatist party ruling the United States – instead of swearing allegiance to the Constitution – are “domestic enemies,” according to Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen.

CONTINUE . . .

The Associated Press reports:

“Democratic National Committee sources say the party’s strategy is to pose the November midterm elections as a contest between Democrats and a joint GOP-tea party plan for the country.”

The campaign will see grassroots activists painted as tools of the Republican establishment and the GOP associated with “extremist” ideologies.

The official launch of the campaign was made Wednesday by DNC Chairman Tim Kaine.

A website at www.republicanteapartycontract.com, a play on Newt Gingrich’s 1994 GOP “Contract With America”, along with a crudely produced video, mark the direction the DNC is taking.

The video urges viewers to “GET THE FACTS”, as it outlines a 10-point blueprint on what policies Tea Party candidates would enact if voted into power.

< snip >

The idea is clearly to depict such positions as outside of mainstream political thought, yet multiple recent national polls indicate that such a notion is deeply misguided.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has described the campaign as part of an “increasingly desperate strategy that remains ignorant of exactly why independent voters are fleeing them in droves”.

The key flaw in the Democratic campaign is that voters are now painfully aware that it is not the Tea Party and the GOP that are one and the same, it is the two establishment parties.

And Obama has a 38% approval rating - not too good.

The point is that the United States is going to a socalized goverment. And Obamacare is a perfect example of this.

There are two big problems:
1) those in govt seem to think that they know what is best for the population. This country was founded in part on the princpale of freedom. With the passing of hundrds of laws - we are loosing them little by little.
2) the Voters - and the non-voters. many vote for what they can get from the govt. Those who vote Dem, should remember what Kenedy said in 1961
Many voters only vote name recognition, party line, incumbants, ect. Very few actually understand the platform of the candidate and party.

It is our responsibiltiy to become involve in our local political parties and candidates. Take action.

OR we will see our county to continue to go down the path of Socalism. But then again - wont that be the goal of the Anti-Christ

BTW, the latest news on what the GOP is "demanding" in negotiations is a clause requiring a stricter accounting of the income levels of people signing up for ObamaCare. In other words, the Republicans want more government intrusion into people's private lives.

That isn't spin. That is truth. The military was fully funded, per a bill that has already been passed. If the conservatives would have dug in their heels, it WOULD have worked. All of these programs Obama is implementing, were not affected by the partial shutdown, but would have been gutted by hitting the debt ceiling. He would have caved...

Or not, which is even better. Instant small government.

The Tea Party won't need to spin anything.

Soon they will be able to say "we told you so".

When we see the so-called Affordable Health care Bill/Act/Law/Tax (or whatever the SCOTUS decides to call it next) deducted from our collectivized pay checks.

A Bill/Act/Law/Tax which was passed without the informed consent of the governed (remember -we need to pass it so we can see whats in it-).

And if it retains its identity of a "Tax", guess what? If you don't get on board and sign up you will be guilty of tax evasion - a felony.

Wonder why its left up to the IRS to enforce the Affordable Health Care Tax (via SCOTUS)? Maybe because the IRS needs next to nothing by way of due process to seize your assets and/or haul you off to the slammer for tax evasion.

I believe the current IRS "scandal" is a smoke screen to give the impression that their authority has been minimized when in actuality the administration has given them police state authority over us by making them the enforcers of the Affordable Health Care Tax.

IMO, The Tea Party needs to reconnoiter, adopt a new name and/or make themsleves a distinct entity from the Republican Party.

But I don't think it will happen.

The lack of political, historical, Constitutional understanding on this board is astounding. Most have never gotten involved in political grass roots effort. Most probably have never written a letter to their Congressman. Most post based on an article they read on FOX or CNN. The clearest evidence is that most posters argue for either the Democrat or Republican position on an issue, and take the made up media gap between the two hook, line and sinker.

You are correct. Also, it is amazing how little so many posters know about political theory. Anything they do not agree with is either socialist or Communist. Remember how opponents called Kennedy a Socialist? IThe ignorance here would be funny if it were not so tragic.

Remember reading is a dangerous thing, it may force a person to re-evaluate their long held and loved beliefs.

So true. The terms "liberal" and "conservative" have also undergone some considerable denotative and connotative changes over the years.

Liberalism has come a long way from the days of Thomas Jefferson a classical liberal. Compared to him today's liberals are more accurately described as Malthusian big government eugenicist control freak authoritarians.

The exact opposite of what Jefferson believed in. Today's liberals have managed to make what Jefferson despised, big govt tyranny and despotism trendy.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove (see trends).

So, what's your point? SN just explained how most of the voting public is misinformed misguided and historically uneducated. Take you for example it's clear from your posts that you think "democracy" is some great form of government when all the founders spoke out against it.
