That’s assuming all Christians are well-informed on the matter. But many are not. There is no such thing as a "pro-choice Christian." That's an oxymoron.

I suggest you read up on the very recent history of conservative Christianity and abortion. In conservative Christian circles, views on abortion have changed radically within my lifetime. Please review this history of the shift (and please, "do you own research" and verify the reality of the claims):There is no such thing as a "pro-choice Christian." That's an oxymoron.
A couple of things:So, to use an analogy, when professing Christians believe blacks, Jews, himosexuals, Hispanics are not really people, therefore it really isn’t sin/murder to kill them, your response/motivation is to change their minds through self reflection and consent… all the while watching the murders take place?
I will accept that as a sincere sentiment.OK, may God bless your efforts.
Be careful. Jesus said, "...But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” - Matthew 12:36-37OTOH, I will call the baby murderers what they are, baby murderers, and trust God Holy Spirit to convict them of the truth.
There's not a shortage of those. Baptistboard is full of professing Christians giving the enemies of God great occasion to blaspheme His name. The Politics section is among the worst examples of antichrist sentiment and dishonesty.I will also point out these professing Christians are giving the enemies of God great occasion to blaspheme His name.

Not playing word games. You analogy is terrible and doesn't apply, since the motivation behind not shutting down conversations before they start has nothing to do with offending people. It is about being effective and following the example of people like Jesus and the apostle Paul.BB, you are playing word games now. I made the ANALOGY of people ignoring the murder of millions while trying not to offend the killers.
It is very effective.Your approach is valid. I sincerely hope it works.
That's good.We support a ministry that offers prenatal care and post birth services to mothers and fathers considering abortion. In just a few years, this ministry has convinced several dozen women to keep their babies.
Absolutely. That's why it is extremely important to think very carefully about the way we communicate. We are judged according to our intentions and our knowledge.BTW, Jesus’s advice concerning “careless words” apply to everyone.
That's a logical fallacy.A person who accepts abortion is PRO-ABORTION!

1st paragraph: I'll take your word for pre-1970s mainstream view, though I did not have that view even before God saved me in 1970 - at age 24. Use of the description of God giving life to the first man, a one-of-a-kind action, as an argument in today's abortion discussion seems a very wide stretch to me. (And from a[n intended] humorous-not-serious note, context suggests that the man was of adult stature at the time of that life-giving breath, thus terminating offspring would be acceptable until perhaps 18 years old. I'm sure there are some overstressed parents who might buy into that view.)To do such a thing, we have to start where people are. Every pro-choice Christian I have even spoken to DOES NOT believe that a conceived life (including conception, implantation, and germinal stage) is a person (aka, “a baby”). Then there are some who do not recognize that a fetus is a person until the time of birth when they take their first breath (concept based on Genesis 2:7) which used to be a mainstream view among many conservative Christians until the 1970s.
Moreover, God, the law of Moses, and US law all recognize that murder is a matter of intent AND knowledge. Manslaughter is what happens when a life is taken without both knowledge and intent.
