How would you answer this LS/freegrace question?

I've been asked: is it possible that free gracer's are right in that all that is required is that the person seeking salvation ask for it from the Lord (God) Jesus Christ and yet the LS proponents are right that when that happens God will absolutely regenerate and change the person so that works will be produced?

How would Calvinism, dispensationalism, Arminianism, and Wesleyan thought affect your answer?

One (Free Grace) deals with justification, while the other (Lordship) deals with sanctification...but confuses it with justification. Calvinists are more prone to be LS'ers.

One need but be made able to believe in Christ by God to be a Christian, but it does not stop there (as free grace attest) from that Christ will change the heart of stone to a heart of flesh in said person producing good works. Some have very, very much in error have said that LS says works to be saved, nay we say works flows from one once salvation occurs as Scripture attest.

Galatians 5:22 - 23a - But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

James 2:20 - Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?
