I have been reading a book by Jim Putman titled "real-life discipleship". He talks about James 5:16; I like what he says, he speaks truth...
"James tells us to confess our sins one to another. When we confess our sins with other believers, we - and they - learn that everyone struggles. They discover that we all struggle with our sin nature. We all stumble in what we say, think, and do. We all live in a broken world that causes us pain. It is part of the human condition........To pretend for your sake that I do not have sin makes me a hypocrite and makes you feel that you have to be perfect as well. And none of us is going to be perfect."
