How young is TOO young for a person to be a deacon or pastor?

Uhmm he's christian from the start but, started being devoted when he met his partner around five years ago..and according to him, its life changing as his partner became the bridge for who he is now.
A quote I came across many years ago: "A church without a pastor is a non-prophet organization." I don't know if that is necessarily true in all cases, but I was once a member of a local church that took almost 2 years before it settled on a full-time pastor. Later on I found out that one of the reason(s) for this long delay was that in this church there were some families who had "preacher boys" in these families & each one "Just knew who would be THE perfect one for this church. Turned out that this church choose someone who wasn't a member of ANY of these families---and that choice WAS (IMHO anyway) the one that proved to be THE best choice for that particular local church.:):):):Thumbsdown:Thumbsdown:Thumbsdown
