Well, duh! That's the whole point. If they force their way into my home they put my life and the lives of my loved ones in jeopardy.

2 If hey are only stealing your goods that would be murder.

Except they forced their way into my home, putting myself and my loved ones in danger, in order to steal those goods. The best way to avoid being shot for breaking into a person's home and putting him and his loved ones in jeopardy is to not force their way into my home. Problem solved.

3 Would any action you take be likely to prosper the propagation of the gospel?
