In my 1991 edition of The Baptist Hymnal the scripture quote is listed under the title on each hymn page. The scripture quote appears to be KJV or NIV1984.

Hymnary.org is another source for connecting scripture quotes with specific hymns. The data base in Hymnary.org provides this information for multiple hynm books, when the same hymn title is included in several hymn titles in the data base. Furthermore, many hymn titles are referenced to more than one scripture quote.
