1. I have had many private conversations with Joshua and have no doubt whatever that he is a dedicated twice-born believer.
2. The fact that he follows a different path of understanding God's word does not alter that fact.
3. These religious labels are a lot of hogwash and I personally despise them.
4. I began to wonder if the lot of you even know what a liberal is.
5. How many of you go back far enough to even remember the days of the modernist battles?
6. Just delight yourself in the Lord, and get on with it.
2. Hymaneus and Alexander followed a slightly different path and were spoken of as ones who were lost. Jim, you just have to ignore too much of the N.T. to take the same position you have.
3. Usually, it is the opposition that abuses the labels. I have seen guys despise fundamentalists, dispensationalists, etc. Wait, that was you.
4. Yes, I do.
5. I wasn't there, but I studied them well. I know enough about them to know that "Joyful, joyful, we adore thee" is a modernist song full of untruth (how many people sing that song unknowing its roots and theology is scary).
6. That would sure make it easy Jim. We just must be true to Christ first though, so advice rejected.
