I didn't make the claims. You did. Your claim, your job to research and provide evidence. Not mine.
You're the one who wanted (though you really were just saying that) an example of Trump's racism and xenophobia (when it's clearly documented). You could easily have Googled it but like I say, you all hate research because it leads to facts.

Yeah still waiting on those documented examples. You couldn't produce them. You just parrot Democrat talking points. If you have the proof by all means provide it. Put up or shut up.

The interesting race is in GA. It is always good to have a division of power (the Democrats are their own worst enemy and the Republicans are their own worst enemy).

Democrats have historically exploited minorities for political gain. This means given the opportunity many minorities will be disenfranchised yet thank their masters for the chains.

Republicans have exploited religion, especially Christianity. The irony is they make a social gospel ekklesia out of conservative Christians who are largely opposed to social gospels but strive to serve two masters.

In the end, if their power is divided they can keep each other in check. Personally I believe the world is on a moral decline. Makes me glad my citizenship is elsewhere.

Exactly. Power unchecked is power out of control...the most dangerous type of power.

I teach at a church in GA so I got to hear a lot about the runoff. I live in North Augusta (which is in SC) so I do not really care much about the runoff election (or politics in general, for that matter). But I see very little advantage in any one party controlling three branches...especially with the parties we have today.

Oh, cool. I teach at a college/seminary in Atlanta. My students and I are really glad about what's going on in this state right now.

I grew up in Marietta (until middle school).

I have been trying to explain to my class that politics is about power and influence- never about Christ. Political parties are by biblical definition powers of this world.

Too many wonder how a Christian could be a Democrat or how they could be a Republican. I can understand how both parties have values for a Christian but my personal conviction is to identify with Christ not political parties.

Both Biden and Trump have told too many lies for my taste. But that's politics.

Augusta is a Democrat city, but I suspect many if not most Democrats here will vote Republican in the runoff election because they also like a division of power and know changing the rules today will be a wrench in the system tomorrow. They want a change of parties but not a change of systems.

It is an exciting time, anyway. I probably would not like it if I was a Republican, and if I was a Democrat I would be too anxious about the direction of the party (I am conservative).

But as a Christian I can watch the world be the world, foolish organizations trying to make a change for the good, on their own and without God.

I already know the end of the story, so I have no desire to be unkind to anyone because of their political affiliation.
