It just helps kill more people.
No it doesn't. I'm unvaccinated. I will not get the vaccine. It is not necessary. That being said, the moment I got sick, I quarantined. So no, I did not harm people. I was responsible.

The virus has a 99% survival rate. This is all utter nonsense.

But you got sick and possibly you and your family spread it on.

Yep. Possibly. And I don't worry about it either. Nor should I. People have to assume their own level of risk. People get sick. That's the way it works. If it isn't Covid it is something else. I'm not going to bow down to illegal mandates and let people make health decisions for me, that are not based on science but control. Nor will I let people put me on a guilt trip either.

But you knew the trade-offs which might necessarily involve you in the deaths of others.

And I might be involved in a car crash today that involves the death of others. I might be in a work accident that involves the death of others. What is your point?

You might get a cold, and give it to someone with no immune system and they die because of it. Do you worry about that? No you don't. Why this? It is nonsense Dave.

Live life.

But you chose not to protect yourself and others by getting vaccinated.

It is not my job to protect others. If they want the vaccine they should protect themselves.

That being said, personally, I think it is STUPID for a healthy individual who has low risk of dying from Covid to take a vaccine that we have no idea what the long-term effects of that vaccine are.

LOL way to take a verse completely out of context.

That being said, Dave, I social distance, I isolate when sick. I don't need to take a shot that we do not have the long-term effects of to protect others. I do my part. I am a responsible person. But I am not going to tow the liberal line.

If you and your family had been vaccinated you could have avoided the whole thing and not have potentially harmed others.
True. While the vaccine is not 100% effective it does provide protection against covid and should one still get the virus it provides protection against serious illness and death. So many people have died deaths that could possibly have been prevented. And so many have needlessly spread covid to other people.

It goes back to human nature. Men are by nature rebellious. A parent tells a child they should do such and such. The child's reaction is often to "have a better way".

And we live in a country that distrust the government. We were, as a nation, born that way.

I know a member here who was planning on getting vaccinated until Biden became president and pushed the vaccine.

And how do they know that would not have already been the same outcome for that person?

I'm a Trump fan only trying to be a responsible citizen.
People often forget that only a couple of months ago Trump asked everybody to get vaccinated and explained all three vaccines are safe and effective. These vaccines were a product of the Trump Administration.

It is not about politics but about taking care of one another. Too many make the vaccine and virus political.

And I held the same position then too. Not everything is about politics Jon.
