Often I will "quote" someones post to make a point, but I will only re-post the part that I am referring too. Often an individual will "quote" the entire previous post.

My questions is WHY!  ? If I need to read the entire post, I can refer back to it by clicking on the back button inserted at the beginning of the "quote".

So, those of you who quote the entire post, will you please explain to me why you do it. Why don't you just deleted the portions that you are not referring to?

Or am I missing something here?

Obviously the ones that do this aren't reading this post -- or, maybe they are like the resident liberals just waiting for their "talking points email(s) of the day" to know "HOW TO REPLY"!!

Ya think?????

I think you're just getting grumpy in your old age. I can help you with that by doing mass quotes until it no longer bother you. ;-p

Yes, I see that often.

It's easier for them?

I like to respond point-by-point personally. So while I may quote the whole thing, I like to break it up into annoying little blurbs. It works SO much better that way!

Or am I missing something here?

You know, it could be.

Ann,

Actually I like the way you break it up - point by point. Makes the discussion much easier to follow
