The main issues all in one verse... Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. - Ezekiel 16:49

* Pride
* Laziness
* No outreach to the poor

And... Pride was at the top of the list! God did not bless us spiritually to become arrogant!

Most of the issues are spiritual...

48 As I live, saith the Lord God, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. - Ezekiel 16

And Christ tackling the issues. In which he takes issue with heart...

33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. - Matthew 12

Here is another scripture you can defecate on.

Col 1:15- He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation;
16- for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

Here Jesus is referred to as part of creation, and God used him to make all things thru him.

And,. to me, the Baptists are arrogant and set in their ways...
Ephesians 4:14
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Or we saw you coming.

I’m not sure what you are trying to accomplish here.

Another word for set is established. It’s not exactly an insult. I certainly wouldn’t want anyone to be wishy-washy with the truth.

(This is not also to say that all Baptists are right because they are Baptist.)

Suppose you tell us what your version says and clean it up for us. You are obviously here to speak and not listen. Maybe you could also tell what version you are using that “doesn’t have errors” and what church you go to. Then we’ll at least have a better idea who we are talking to.

Well, I'm using the RSV.

I'm trying to tell the TRUTH about Christ and his God.
Not with the Trinity doctrine, by the sleight of men with cunning craftiness.

Thank you!
When Jesus said He is one with the Father, He didn’t mean what He said?
The Jews knew what He meant. They picked up stones to kill Him for making Himself God. They were not going to kill Him for agreeing with God. They themselves said they agreed with God. They weren’t stoning themselves for being in agreement with God.
Are you a JW?

The interactions of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit...

* Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) - Galatians 1:1
* Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. - 2 Corinthians 1:2
* That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 15:6
* And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. - Matthew 3:16-17

John 17:11- And now I am no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.

The Apostle Paul declares...

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. - 1 Timothy 3:16

Key word... Mystery... The basics of Salvation... In which the Baptist believe...

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:8-9

Understanding the mysteries of 1 Timothy 3:16 Godliness are not requirements for Salvation.
