I Thought Mexico Was Paying for The Wall?

Here's a couple of tweets from Trump this morning.

If Mexico is paying for the Wall, shouldn't we penalize them by making them pay top dollar for sending rapists and criminals and illegals into our country? Couldn't we use their extra money to employ more Americans on Wall construction?

Why would you go to bat for the Mexicans by lowering the cost of the Wall they are going buy for us?

There are many ways that Mexico can be assessed a tax, tariff, fee, etc., to be collected for the walL. It may take some creative wrangling, and time, but if he said they will pay for the wall, they will pay.

One way is to put a surcharge tax on moneygrams being sent from here, by green card workers, to families left behind.

It will take time ITL, but because in three weeks, Trump has rolled out promise after promise, I can't see anyone lame enough to not believe him? Get with the program ITL ... if Teump said it, the you can expect it to happen.

You're missing my point. Why should Trump worry about lowering the cost of the Wall of the Mexicans are paying for it?
