You are a good man.

I do not find swearing offensive. I do not find puppets pornographic. I never saw the scenes you describe. Perhaps in an effort to exalt yourselves, you guys rented the unrated version ?

I do not watch TV. So I think it would be STUPID of me to be critical of a show I refused to watch. I do not take other people's words for things. I feel sorry for those that do.

I also feel compelled to add, anonymous people who post other's personal info online in an effort to make them look bad are both sick, and cowards. Anonymous people who exalt themselves by commenting on the info publicly posted are just cowards.

The following is a brief summary of the content found in this R-rated comedy. Profanity consists of at least 73 "f" words, while plenty of other expletives and colorful phrases are also uttered. Sexually explicit dialogue is present, as is material featuring marionettes engaged in all sorts of sexual behavior (included straight and gay oral sex, and heterosexual intercourse in many positions, with graphic movement, although the dolls have no genitalia but marionette breasts are visible). Some real-life, scantly clad models are briefly seen in a billboard shot.

6 uses of "G-damn," 4 of "Jesus," 2 each of "Jesus Christ," "My God" and "Oh my God" and 1 use each of "Dear God," "God" and "Oh God."

Looks like a great movie for a Christian to see...

I'm surprised anyone here would ever like anything by the creators of South Park when they were the ones who animated the segment of Bowling For Columbine portraying conservative gun-lovers so negatively.

Yes. What happens to Liv Tyley & Matt Damon at the end was especially gratifying. Hans Blix dies a hilarious death, as well.

I never saw the movie, so I cannot comment on it. I saw "Roger & Me" and decided I wouldn't watch any more of his movies.

Trey Parker & Matt Stone parody EVERYTHING. Hollywood, jam-band festivals, lesbians, Mormons, Scientologists, Catholics, nothing is off-limits.

All I can say is you are very liberal when it comes to accepting immorality in films.

I have not nor will I ever watch this film. If you cannot see its offensiveness and if you consider it a good film then all I can say is you are very liberal in your view of the appropriateness of immorality.

From a review:

MUSIC (INAPPROPRIATE)
# Various songs contain an extreme amount of profanity (many "f" words, some "s" words) as well as phrases such as "Suck on my balls." A musical number is about everyone having AIDS (played for comedy), a song has scatologically related lyrics (using the "s" word) and another has a line about only a woman is allowed "to touch me there."

PROFANITY
# At least 73 "f" words (14 used sexually, 7 used with "mother"), 13 "s" words, 23 slang terms using male genitals ("d*ck," "c*ck" and "c*cks*cker"), 15 using female genitals ("p*ssy"), 16 asses (2 used with "hole"), 8 hells, 2 damns, 1 S.O.B., 6 uses of "G-damn," 4 of "Jesus," 2 each of "Jesus Christ," "My God" and "Oh my God" and 1 use each of "Dear God," "God" and "Oh God."

SEX/NUDITY
# Viewers should note that the following is all played for comedy and features marionettes as the characters.
# We see a classic-style statue in Paris that shows several nude figures in a non-explicit embrace (with one's bare butt seen).
# We see a large billboard that shows two real female models who are scantly clad and in sexy poses.
# After Spottswoode invites Gary into his limo to discuss what he wants with him, Gary (who thinks the man is in the movie business) states that he knows Spottswoode wants to put his finger inside him and that "if I go down on you" he'll get the movie part. Spottswoode then replies, "I'm not going to f*ck you in the mouth...Now suck my c*ck" (and then adds that he's just kidding).
# A terrorist leader tells Gary (about his convictions, but also some sexual innuendo), "You have balls. I like balls."
# Lisa tells Gary that if he promises never to die, "I'll make love to you right now." He enthusiastically makes that promise and we then see a sex scene montage featuring the two. It includes full marionette nudity for both (no genitals but we see her wooden or plastic but not exactly realistic breasts, as well as both of their butts) as well as graphic sexual movement in various positions (missionary, rear entry, her on top, other gymnastic styles) and scenes of oral sex (the 69 position as well as her head moving rhythmically at his crotch from an aerial view). It's all played for comedy rather than eroticism.
# Sarah asks Lisa, "You slept with Gary?"
# A man goes on a diatribe about various types of people, including "d*cks," "p*ssies" and "assholes" and then talks about one "f*cking" the other and so on, resulting in a lot of graphic sexual talk as well as some scatological material. Later, Gary does the same with the same words while addressing a large group of people.
# Spottswoode reminds Gary of the first time they met when Gary thought Spottswoode wanted Gary to perform oral sex on him. He then says that he'll only trust Gary if he does that now, with Gary saying the man can't be serious, but he says he is. We hear him unzip and drop his pants and Gary looks down there. Spottswoode then pulls his pants up, but Gary reluctantly agrees to do so (to save the rest of the Team America members from certain death) and drops out of the camera shot, apparently performing the deed.
# Spottswoode states that Gary proved his mettle "last night by sucking my c*ck."
# Spottswoode makes additional sexual comments about Gary servicing him orally.

As I said, if you do not find these incidents offensive, then you are extremely more liberal than I am concerning morality.

Imagine that....Crabby and I have found something to agree upon. This movie is pure and utter filth. I can't believe that any Christian would watch it.

What does it mean, anyway ? That my views on what is going on in Wisconsin are compromised by this ? Are you guys serious ? Have I EVER told you how to live ? What movies to watch ? What shows on TV ? What books ? Are you telling me every book CTBoy has claimed to read is pure ?

Pretty silly, folks.

It's just a way for some to avoid the subject at hand.

Some don't want to deal with it. Others want to excuse it by diverting attention to you.

Never said I was better than you Curtis, but when you go calling people out like you are you doing it isn't very effective when you are blatantly living in sin.

He wasn't calling them out for the sin in their lives, but their political hypocrisy. Giving them an opportunity , at least on this one occasion, to shed that hypocrisy.

None have done so.

Living in sin ?

Blatantly living in sin ?

No, you aren't saying you're better than me. Not at all.

Actually, I took CTBoy off my ignore list long enough to see he at least addressed it. Not exactly a stern repudiation, more of an excuse, I thought.

I'm living in sin as well. I'm no better than you in that regard. The only difference is that I'm ashamed of my sin. You don't seem to be ashamed of your sin.

I do not recall seeing any post telling you how to live, what to watch or what to read. You have been told that this movie is a cesspool movie.

I believe for some of us it is hard to see how a anyone claiming to be a conservative Christian can defend profanity in language and blatant immorality in entertainment. Can you explain that to us?

Ok, CTBoy and Matt Wade are better than me. Noted. Wanna comment on Wisconsin ?

And now out comes the “I am the victim,” statement. This is a rather condescending and sophomoric response. By the way, there is none good but God … so none of us can say we are good.

I commented on Wisconsin … violence is bad regardless of where it comes from. Violence begets violence begets violence. Revenge begets revenge begets revenges. There is no place for violence or revenge in the life of a Christian. Remember Christ said in Matthew 26:52 ---

Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

Do you agree that death threats and violence is wrong regardless of which side of the political aisle it comes from?
