No, Sam, Dr. Bob DOESN'T "know". The only discussion I've had with anyone on your posting was the "spam" problem of posting the same thing a few months ago, then posting the EXACT SAME MESSAGE on more than one forum here on the BB.

I was notified to "look into it", so read through the old/new threads.

My advice was and is, if you have a problem with a brother, deal with it. But not here.

Thank you for understanding my rebuke.

I don't know you, and I don't know anything more about your situation than what you have revealed here. However, here are some verses to consider...

Proverbs 17:9-10
He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.

You feel you have been wronged. You likely were in some way, brother. However, there isn't anything that can be done to change that after the fact. Learn from your mistakes, accept godly reproof, and move on. If you want more than that, you are expecting more than an relatively impersonal internet board can realistically offer. It is never pleasant to be betrayed or rejected, but it happens to the best of us (see Christ, Paul...). Do we take the occasion to grow in grace, or do we allow bitterness to fester?

Well spoken. (Or, "well typed.") Easier said than done, to be sure...but Pastor Sam, my prayer is that you lean on the Lord for understanding. We will certainly fail you (even when we don't mean to), but God will not.

you make it sound like various members in your church were looking for an excuse to get rid of you if they called people from years ago to back them on the vote. Perhaps it is God's will you must leave both Church and community to go where He wants you???

Our church has a budget of $15,000 a week, and the entire financial report is published every month and handed out to everyone. In addition, if more detail is requested, down to what checks went where, that will be printed out and given to anyone who requests it.
