So was JFK. Were they our only Cathokic presidents?
Two too many. My mom was elated with JFK( the first RC President ) but most of my RC family from Scranton knows that The Bishop of Scranton had run ins with that creep Biden claiming he wasn’t really a RC … the Bishop nailed it, Biden is a political hack and most Scrantonians ( Catholic and Non Catholic alike hung our head in shame for having him claim early residence in our home town)

It’s not that simple unfortunately….deportation is one thing, shipping them into detention camps without due process is quite another.
Illegal immigrants do not, legally, receive the same “due process” as U.S. citizens.

As I understand it, it’s simply a matter of the State department/ICE or some other agency stating they are here illegally… and deporting them.

Even if they are here legally, same thing. The U.S. government states they violated terms and off they go. Very little court action is necessary.

Personally, I think Congress should pass a law that states if any illegal refuses to leave voluntarily by a certain date, and are later caught and deported, they can never legally enter the U.S. again.

Peace to you

Proud Elephant:

"UST IN: Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) to introduce bill that would EXCLUDE ILLEGALS from the U.S. Census.

DO YOU SUPPORT THIS?"

https://x.com/i/grok?conversation=1939703019999842439

"The proposal by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene to exclude undocumented immigrants from the U.S. Census challenges the current practice of counting all residents, which has historically influenced congressional apportionment and electoral power, as seen when California lost a seat after the 2020 census due to population shifts.

Data from the 2020 Census shows that including non-citizens in population counts can add significant representation to states with large immigrant populations, with a 2019 study by the Center for Immigration Studies estimating that excluding them could shift up to 26 congressional seats across states.

This legislative move coincides with heightened immigration enforcement under President Trump, as evidenced by recent DHS arrests of over 20 violent undocumented immigrants in LA, reflecting a broader policy shift that could reshape political dynamics if the bill passes."
