I'm not even an american but likes Mike Huckabee so much for president that I watch his campaign closely to know more about him and his stand on certain issues.

I wouldn't vote for my former governor is he was the only candidate on the ballot. While the governor of Arkansas Huckabee was soft on crime, a tax raiser, and wanted to give taxpayer-funded college scholarships to the children of illegal aliens.

Huckabee may be pro-life; however, other than on social issues he is a big government liberal. I would rather have Hillary Clinton as president compared to Mike Huckabee. He was horrible as my governor; I certainly don't want him as my president.

I know that Mike Huckabee is not a perfect candidate but He is certainly right on major issues with regards to christian views. Besides His views on immigration and other issues has at least christian flavor in it. Think about compassion, mercy and justice.

You can also consider him as your horrible governor but hey, not all many arkansas believe as you do. Mike Huckabee had won his reelection bid and exit in his tenure with more than 50% favorable rating among all arkansas. And take also for consideration that majority of arkansans favor democrats.

Another side note, Time magazine consider him one of the best governor. He also became chairman of National Governors Association which speak volume about his character and performance.

We are electing a president in these United States, not a national pastor.

I am all for generosity with one's own money. Huckabee is welcome to do that with his own money all he wants but he needs to leave other people's, namely taxpayers', money alone. We have way, way too much socialism in our federal government as it is. We don't need Huckabee as president increasing it.

He is not pro tax increase at all. He is actually pushing Fair tax and signed the no tax hike pledge.

As governor He did it to comply with the court ruling and some of the tax increase was voted by majority of arkansans. It seems that you are in the minority with regards to this. Remember he was re-elected and still majority favors him during his exit. In this case i would go with the majority of the arkansans. Take note he got some pretty good things he did there. Otherwise he will not be re-elected or exit unfavorably.

I will give Huckabee credit for one thing - he is a smooth talker. In this way he reminds me of his fellow former Arkansas governor - Bill Clinton.

Ken, I am with you 100% on this issue. I don't like it that he freed a felon who then committed another heinous crime. To me, he is soft on crime, also.

I am not for Hillary and I am not for the former Republican Gov. of Arkansas. I think that we have a full record on both of them.

The GOP field does not have a good candidate for the Evangelical voter. I think that this is all going to have to be sorted out by the primaries next year and at the GOP convention (concerning the question of abortion). I have a wait-and-see attitude and I am not leaning towards anyone whatsoever. I think that the GOP always nominates the front-runner but that the front-runner will be decided by the early primaries. I would say that it is between Rudy and Fred, both of whom are disappointments on the question of abortion. I see no reason to promote any other candidates at this time.

This is interesting and sadly telling. You believe Huckabee to be a big time liberal. We all know Hillary is a big time liberal. So they are equals at best for no one can be more liberal than Hillary. Now Hillary is pro-murder and Huckabee is pro-life. Yet you would choose Hillary over Huckabee. Very sad.

Christians need to get out of their sin of going along with the world's ways of analyzing the issues and get back to critiquing everything through God's Word.
