I don't have a problem with President Bush drinking low alcohol beer. I wouldn't have a problem with President Bush drinking real beer, for that matter.

    hillclimber,

I wouldn't line my bird's cage with it, if I had a bird.

    I would. :D

    KenH,

Agreed. If we're going to judge our Presidents by whether they drink alcohol, then I hope every Christian school moves immediately to strike George Washington from their history books!

BTW, had to do a double-take on the OP. I figured it must have been ASLANSPAL making such a statement.

I so hope that no one ever takes a picture of me making a stern face at one of my classes or over a bad situation (like Hurricane Rita), because the conclusion may well be that I need a keeper.

I want to be generous in my opionions of others (even political leaders that I may or may not care for) -- as I want them to be generous with their opinions of me.

    From Newsweek:

The president didn't look all that relieved or happy, however. His eyes were puffy from lack of sleep (he had been awakened all through the night with bulletins), and he seemed cranky and fidgety. A group of reporters and photographers had been summoned by White House handlers to capture a photo op of the commander in chief at his post. Bush stared at them balefully. He rocked back and forth in his chair, furiously at times, asked no questions and took no notes. It almost seemed as though he resented having to strike a pose for the press.

ASLANSPAL, you seem rather desperate in your latest round of attacks on the President. I'm worried about you. Please don't let that deep rooted hatered get the best of you.

If it is not true - a likely possibility given the National Enquirer's reputation for gossip - then you're just spreading lies.

I agree with Dragoon68, I too am worried about Aslandspal. I certainly saw a lot of pictures where Clinton looked awfully bored.

Have you ever thought the President has a lot on his mind and is actually quite tired?

What does the Bible say about the leaders of your country and how you are to respect them? Or do you care--as long as they are not liberal like you?

    Just curious........

If the picture showed him smiling, you people would say, "He's not concerned about America."

    Hate colors opinions.

I'm trying to figure out how this thread wehnt from the National Enquirer "beer drinking" story, to Bush being tired, to "ties" to islamic institute. Oh wait. I see the last post belongs to freedom's cause. That's explains it all. Perhaps if we could keep on topic for once, it would not only help, but it would be a first.

and please take a look at the 2nd picture it
    is a good picture imho.
