In my church I'm the head bouncer
(AKA - head usher) and take up monetary
collections (AKA - head usher). Can I be
the bouncer and take up collections
in the First Baptist Church of the BB?

I voted "unsure" because I always pray about where God wants me to go, and right now He does not want me to change churches!

Bunches of good people seem to congregate here, though!

Not to mention the excessive multiplication,
addition, and subtraction :(

I would join only if Dr. Bob were the pastor and if some of the conspiracy theorists who generally spread their anti-semitic hate, those who spread anti-Arab racism, and those who are caught up in charasmatic and other heresies would have to be Biblically disciplined.

You know, come to think of it, I thought I saw Joseph B. doing some calculus over there . . .

I have never in my life done calculus...at least not very well. :D

Math was never my strong point in high school or college. :(

Math isn't allowed?

It will be very hard to balance the budget and be good stewards of God's resources without math.

I'll have to reconsider my membership until a committee can be formed to determine whether math is a subject that can be used in the church or not. Math does have a concept of an imaginary number and considering that imagination seems to be a bad thing to some on the BB, math should be evaluated to see if it has a place in the church or not.

Did you know that there are 3 kinds of people in the world? Those who can count and those who can't!

Oh great, that means only about 10 people would be able to attend.

Only the Lonely,
Know the feelin' that I feel

I was trapped by myself on a desert Island
for 8 years when I was younger.
The rescuers asked why I had three
houses there under the trees.

I told them:

1. is where I live
2. is where I go to church
3. is where I USED to go to church

I voted yes just to see what the results were, but asking if the BB were a church is like asking if your car were person would you still drive it. It is a silly question, unless some one actually thinks of it as a church. churches don't have this kind of diversity of opinion because birds of a feather flock together.

I voted "no" but I think I may have changed my mind. Just think:

1. No tithing.
2. When I don't like a sermon I just "click" and find myself another church.
3. No committee meetings.
4. No "Sunday go to meeting" clothes. I can just sit around in my...uh..."relaxation" clothes.
5. Everybody in my "pew" agrees with me.
6. Singing off key does not make me feel self conscience. Well, ok, that one is still true.
7. No commute.
8. It never interfers with hunting, fishing, vacations, or work.
9. Don't have to buy gifts for every wedding, birth, and graduation.
10. I can just be myself. (After watching myself, be myself, the thought occurred to me, "Why would anyone want to be THAT".) :D
