If You Could Ask God One Question

If God was sitting next to me, I would probably just give Him a hug and start crying. I would then proceed to say just one word:
WHY?

In Christ's gracious love,

hmmmmmmm.. I don't know.. I think I wouldn't have a really great question for Him to answer...

But one...

Why do they put 8 buns in a package, when they package 10 hotdogs separately?? ;)

Teresa, that is exactly what I was going to say; scarily almost word for word.

Godspeed to all,

I was looking at Mark Lowry's webpage about a year ago and I remeber that he had this same question for a survey. I read through all of them and there was the one that I posted and has stuck with me ever since. I don't think I would be able to do anything, except to give my only Real Father a hug, cry because I've finally found my home and ask Him the question that covers everything, Why?

In Christ's Gracious love,
Teresa :D

Why is the sky blue? Or, how could He love me so much when He knows all that I will ever do to hurt Him? I would fall at his feet and wash them with my tears. Dear Jesus, come quickly.

Why was I bald at 28 ?

But seriously...... how could he love us so much, when we are so unworthy ?

My husband and I were just talking about this.

After I had finished crying and hugging and crying and hugging and crying and hugging some more, I would ask God " Do you breathe?"

Gina haha yes of course the tree still makes a sound...the sound doesn't depend on being heard but that the tree falls. Does that make any sense, I know what I am trying to say but don't know if it's coming out right  lol

I always wanted to know, why I can't be very good for very long without sinning again. I think it is probably because I would start to think I was really something. You know?

My question would be "why did He put himself through all of the pain we cause Him". He could have created us anyway that He wanted, without freewill and completely devoted to Him forever.

Why so many different plans? Why not just start off with grace?

Different plans? Of what, salvation?

There is ONE plan and ONE plan only, from Genesis to Revelation: salvation by grace, through faith.

I didn't see a smiley face, so I assume you're not joking?

I would probably want to ask something like What was it like at the beginning? Where did he come from? and then I would just sit there in awe at his gloriousness.

Warm Christian greetings!

The question I would ask is "Why did you choose me for salvation, as I am no better than any one else (ref: Ephesians 1 v 4)?"
