I'll miss you guys

    Good morning, Mr.C! There are times when things "get" to me, too. I'd probably "walk away", if I had other things to do; but I don't~at this time of my life. I've done my "tour of duty", so to speak, altho' it was a real pleasure raising my young'uns and all. I've weathered many storms in life and when I give "advice" it's because I've been there, done that and don't plan on going back. At times, I've been careless in my walk with God-the fact my youngest boy is in a cult is proof of that; but never once do I consider myself a "legalist". I do not keep my standards in order to "get to heaven". Neither do you. We love God, we believe His Word, and we want to please Him.

    Well, if ya got other things to do, that's a perfectly fine reason to take a leave of absence, but don't let it be because of some clod-hopper's inconsideration or immaturity. I know I speak gruff at times, and if I do offend anyone and they will bring it to my attention, I am quick to apologize (but I will not compromise). You take care in your endeavors and remember us in prayer from time to time. This is a war, of sorts, so guess I do have a new "tour of duty". ;)

    I am new to this board. I can understand that the bbs's can suck up a lot of time. And you have to put first things first in life. What ever your decision is; I wish you the very best.
