That is the million dollar question but of course it would seem that the answer is he has an R after his name.

That is why I asked a question instead of stating you said all men talk nasty in private. Are you going to answer the question?

Trump also does not get a pass if indeed his life and perhaps businesses are influenced by or profits from sexual immorality. Abortion is not an isolated sin and I'm not exactly sure why we seem to treat it as such. Abortion is evil, it is murder, but it does not exist isolated from the sexual immorality that is woven in the fabric of our culture.

That said, and as a disclaimer, I will probably vote for Trump. I've never trusted a politician enough remotely support them on character but I do support his platform (even if I doubt he can make it happen).

Hey I'm not the one voting for a guy that praised planned parenthood for its wonderful work.
But you did not answer the question what do you disagree with? That abortion is a sin?
That Sexual Assult is a sin?
that women murder their own unborn due to their depravity?
That bragging about sexual assult is a sin?
That the only hope for depraved sinners is the Gospel?
Inquiring minds want to know which of the above you disagree with vehemently.

So what - he has made a pro-life promise. You don't trust him. I will.
Am I taking a chance? yes of course but I'm taking it!

How do you disagree with a numbness of conscience? Also, how do you determine a numbness of conscience given the internet is not a reliable medium for ascertaining whether a person conscience is numb. I am assuming that you view sexual assault as sinful but given that you have not condemned it here, a person could think that you don't have a problem with it. That is one way that the internet can give a false impression about someone.

That's not our job. Our job is to make sure it does not bleed onto our robes. :Biggrin

But I do agree that we do all we can to demonstrate Christ to a lost world. We stand for Christ, as light to darkness. At this time I am afraid that we have too much immorality in the church to effectively address it in the world. "American Christianity" has, in my opinion, largely conformed to the passions of their former ignorance.

To use abortion as some kind of cover for sexual assult is also a huge problem. But that is what is happening here. Trump bragged that he sexually assaulted women. And people are excusing that by deflecting to other sinful behavior and that is wrong.

Why are you trusting him? What has he done to make you think he will keep his word?

My conscience is not numb to the blood of the innocent which is why I would never vote for anyone that praises Planned Parenthood and yet you will.

Numbness of the conscience is easy to detect by one's words even over the internet.
Yes sexual assault is sin. Hillary called the women her husband allegedly assaulted "bimbos" that is also SIN.

In terms of character, I absolutely agree. People are choosing which poison fits their agenda. It's like that movie 50 shades of gray (which I did not, BTW, see). People are looking at 50 shades of evil and trying to decide exactly how much they will support. God says none. But this is in terms of character.

It may be different if we stick to platform. The problem here is some want to argue Trump's platform and ignore his character against Clinton's character. That's my 2 cents, anyway. I wish Trump would drop out and we'd have another candidate.

Trump has made a pro-life promise. I am going to take the chance of believing him to save life and stop the murderous shedding of blood.

He won't drop out. I'm taking my chances on the possibility he will keep his word.

We know full well what Hillary the abortionist will do.

I know this thread is about politics - but based on the comments of some of the posters on this page - if their church was looking for a pastor - they would choose Judas

NO. it's like the movie Schindler's List - Oskar Schindler a womanizer but he saved many lives.
I know what Donald is, he has acknowledged his sin publicly both in the written word and over the airwaves and the internet.

So has Hillary. Her platform is pro-murder.

I choose the man who has promised a pro-life platform.
If it turns out that he lied then the blood is on his hands because he lied which I am hoping and praying that he will not have lied.
