If Babylon is the MOTHER OF HARLOT churches of the earth and soon to be one world religion...

Can you imagine that Christ's own "bride" could be a mother, too? Well, imagine in this life she is "engaged" to be married (2Cor 11:2) -- at the pretribrapture, these "wise virgins" go to their wedding in heaven (Mt 25:1-13) -- there's a seven year "consummation" (Rev 5-18) -- at the 2nd coming, they/she comes back as "wife" (Rev 19:7) -- suppose they/we then "deliver" the children of OT and trib Israel "born again" to Christ?!

Think about our MK "reign" as of a "mother." You mothers know that in scriptures, mothers and women are pretty much "unseen," right? "Stay at home"/NJ? And in Rev 21, the "wife" comes down in NJ to present the "daughter"/"bride" to wed God in His eternal Kingdom, New Earth!!

If AC is the Mother of religions, wouldn't the glorified church become the "mother of nations?" indeed, on into the New Earth, of the 12 nations for which there is the "tree of life wherein are 12 manner of fruit," Rev 22:2, for healing the nations of the earth (mothers heal, yes they do)? And the tree is right in her "back yard."

Any thoughts? spiritual contributions?

Babylon and the Mother of Harlots are the same entity:


Rev 17:5 And on her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

They are a city:

Rev 18:18 And they cried out, seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, What is like the great city?

They are Old Covenant Jerusalem:

Rev 11:8 And their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

We are working on different paradigms together, that's for sure. Yes, Babylon = MOTHER OF HARLOTS. MOTHER OF HARLOTS is a religion -- a "Babel-based" religion situated in Rome (Rev 17:18). It has been the "mother" of many harlot denominations, wouldn't you agree?

The "Babylon" of Rev 18:18 is a different city altogether - a rich, non-religious "commercial" or "economic" Babylon. Can't you tell by the descriptions John gives? In my view, Babylon moves during the trib from Rome to Jerusalem to Babylon, Iraq.

Here's where your paradigm falls down (unless you are preterist) -- Jerusalem is no where else seen "burning" in the future tribulation. You could be preterist but then I doubt you would be able to work on this "puzzle" with me because our eschatology would be so disparate.

Anyway, thanks. I believe AC comes out of the church such that the religious Babylon is the foundation for not just false denoms in our age but one false church and one "West/EU-originating" world gov't/beast in the future. If so, does that have any implications for the true church's "motherhood?"

Yeah -- I agree with that.

Imagine now -- AC is false Christ in the false church. Christ is supposed to set up His kingdom, right? If "trib dwellers" acknowledge him as Christ, he is not only head of his own one right religion (Rev 2:22 -- "...into a bed and them that commit fornication into GT...") but head of the coming false millennial kingdom and false economy (based on money vs spirit).

So what does that portend for the true church? One religionof all "relgions" over one MK gov't of all "nations" over a spiritual economy? In what manner? Like the wife of Christ or, in other words, as "mother" to "kingdomites."

One thing I didn't emphasize earlier was Rev 21:9 -- "Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife." To my thinking, the Bible and John are very careful to distinguish between "bride" and "wife." "Bride" is up until the consummation of marriage -- "wife" is afterward, at the wedding feast. Therefore, all those in NJ coming down are the "Lamb's wife" (church + MK saints) and the "bride-to-be" of God. But do you see that during the MK, the "wife" offers her "daughters" in the kingdom to Christ, the "Lamb?"

Do you see any confirming or detracting evidence? Some of my "inquiry" is to try to get us to think similarly about prophetic scriptures even if this is a "mirage."
