Immigration Crisis Solution: Fix Central America

You will have to excuse my skepticism. I live on a street with only 10 houses. In the last 10 years, we have had drug seekers rob our car three times. We have had one murder on our block. We have had an offender fleeing another murder scene break into the back porch of a neighbor only to have her call 911 and hear "911, please hold". We have police helicopters fly overhead often enough that we just sleep through them.

And I live in a suburb over an hour's drive from the city.

So I call "poppycock" on your statistics.
so says the open-border Center for (central) American Progress, those ages are disputed

The truth about DACA is uglier than we've been told

but then so what? Why can so few of these DACA people speak English at all?

They are NOT assimilating, they don't have to. They are taught in public schools at the American taxpayer expense in their home language. Most of them have crossed the border many times to visit all the relatives they send money home to and they all have citizenship there.
so put them in front line military positions.... ie make them earn their citizenship. Problem resolved! :Laugh
A wall is not punitive at all.
No it’s costly

Mexico is part of North America, not Central America.
Technically true, but beside the point. Mexico actively assists Central Americans as well as their own citizenry to take advantage of our lax laws and loopholes, and then benefits financially in the process to the tune of billions of dollars annually. Best estimates are that we now have 30 to 50 million illegal aliens in this country.

Mexico is a very big part of the problem. Last I checked, our prison population was 15% Mexican nationals, that is, citizens. This and a host of other data make me think that anything south of the border presents huge problems for the US, none of which can be fixed via US-taxpayer solutions applied in those countries, and certainly not by admitting people from there into the US. To put it kindly, it is past time to expel them all and bar the door.

Not punitive enough. Gun turrets & shoot them on sight, that will guarantee results.

Well, fer sure the #s crossing would DROP drastically in one day should this be applied.

Ought to take the same tactic with rioters - one warning to STOP DESTRUCTION IMMEDIATELY, or face a hail of bullets. Take maybe twice for these yo-yos to rethink whether their 10 minutes of thrill is worth the cost!!!

So how do you do it w/o appearing inhumane?

It is stunning to me to see Christians advocating that kind of violence. Execution on sight. WOW!!

Don't you know that Christians face that kind of "justice" in various places today?

Follow the example of Mexico and just keep busing them north into Canada.
That would certainly fit within the supposed framework of the “bleeding hearts” but it’s a lost cause, especially with the popular culture of treating the victim as the bad guy. It is impossible not to appear inhumane when there are those with very loud voices ready, willing, and able to skew the truth.
Ha....I don't have a clue....it was just a rhetorical question. :D
…thus my tongue-in-cheek reply. The truth is that it cannot be done. Does not God himself constantly get a bum rap from those citing pain and suffering as a reason to reject him?

While not advocating for that kind of violence, I'm unaware of Christians facing it for destructive rioting in various places today. However, I will not be surprised to hear that Christians are being murdered for worshiping God or spreading the Gospel. There are already plenty of people in this country who would gladly carry out such acts against believers, if they thought they could get away with it. That is nothing new.
