If this is the "right" thing to do, then it should have been done the right way. He had two years of a boot-licking congress, and along with the tingle up the leg syncophant media, he should have done it then.

I can't wait to laugh a liberals when Romney does something like this.

Congress will roll over and play dead as usual.

There really isn't anything Congress can do, unless they change the charter of Homeland Security. They created Homeland Security and gave them "prosecutorial discretion" as part of the law. Obama found a loophole and is exploiting it.

It is obvious from some in this thread that the far left cares nothing about the rule of law. Apparently they want to do what ever is necessary to obtain their agenda even if it means ignoring the constitution such as with Obamacare, ignore our borders and legal entry into this country, misuse the executive order, ignore which ever laws they do not like this admin has done numerous times, and vote for a President that says they cannot use executive orders in this way but does it anyhow, and ignore voting laws in order to gain illegal votes.

Nice rant!

If Romney is elected, and does this, I will support him in it.

It is obvious to anyone who drives or rides in a car that 90% of drivers care nothing about the rule of law. Why should any particular political opinion make a difference?

Agree. Young people who were born here, grew up here and are contributing to our society should not be punished. If all the so called illegals were deported many companies would collapse, many restaurants would go out of business, almost all lawn services would be left with no employees, the price of your food would go up dramatically ... no one to pick the crops etc., etc., etc.

I disagree. We have over 8% unemployment in this country. If we get rid of all the illegals, real Americans will take the jobs. Prices may go up some, but so will wages because the illegals depress wages.

I take specific exception to your comment about lawn care companies. I'm part of the management of a local chemical lawn care company, and all of our employees are native English-speaking U.S. citizens. In case you're using "illegal" as an ethnic code word for Hispanic, I'm the company's only Hispanic employee, and I'm only quasi-Hispanic. Our customers get serviced by our well-trained real American lawn technicians. Side notes: We are an equal opportunity employer and we don't cut lawns, do landscaping, or lay sod. We only do chemical treatments for fertilization and control of weeds and turf-damaging insects, as well as household pest control.

Your convoluted statement here has conflated two different subjects. One not related to the other.
