In what way is Trump a "Christian" president?

It's amazing to me that anyone, especially professing Christians, can call Trump's values Christian values or even conservative values. This man is the most unChristian candidate I've seen in my life. BTW, the first vote I cast for president was for Nixon in '68 because he lied just as Trump has in many areas about his objective to end the Viet Nam war. I realized that in '72 and campaigned against him. Trump is a dangerous narcissistic who believes he knows more about everything than anybody else. He's been married 3 times and had an illegitimate child by his second wife before he divorced his first wife. His current wife worked in the U.S. illegally because she didn't have the right visa to do so and yet Trump hypocritically wants to deport illegal aliens. She also appeared nude on the cover of GQ magazine.

Think that's pornographer? No, that's our new First "Lady." Trump mouthed conservative platitudes but his real beliefs were expressed in this video from 1999: http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/video/trump-in-1999-i-am-very-pro-choice-480297539914

On the campaign trail Trump tried to put money in the communion plate demonstrating that he hasn't exactly been a church goer for a long time. He has re-ignited racial hatred in our country that I didn't believe existed any more. Unfortunately, I was wrong. A great business man? He has declared bankruptcy 6 times. I don't consider that to be the mark of an astute business man at all. He has demonstrated a real kinship with V. Putin, the leader of a communist state who I consider to be our enemy. Both Democrats and Republicans have called for a thorough investigation of the impact Russia's hacking influenced the result of the election. He refused to provide his tax returns making him the first candidate in modern history to do so. Even Nixon released his tax returns while under audit which is the excuse Trump gives. His medical report was very marginal and his so-called doctor looks like a relic from Woodstock.

He has already caused an international incident by recognizing Taiwan. It seems to me that his objective is for Russia and the U.S. to seize power together by attacking China. This might very well involve a nuclear exchange. My personal hope lies only in my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ but I will do everything I can to resist America's takeover by an avowed FASCIST. I think America was conned in the same way Germany was conned by Adolph Hitler. This song describes where we are at this point.

I don't know if he is a Christain, but the "most unChristian" you have ever seen??? Where have you been? Have you ever heard of Obama and Clinton? Two of the most pro-murder of babies candidates ever! Don't know how Trump tops those two.....

That must be the 'Hope & Change' brainwashing Barak Obama seduced our children into...after 8 years of being lied to, they woke up!

And yes I agree that we American's should have selected a Christian....I would have preferred Pense, but here we are. Believe me,there are enough people out there watching Trump very closely....people with long memories of past presidential screw ups, Trump is on a short leash. :)

I guess we will have to wait and see. It's sometimes hard to judge a "professing" Christian. Look at John Kasich, I never figured him to be a liar on being pro-life until he pulled this stunt on the "heartbeat" bill in Ohio. He showed no faith in God by touting this it will cost the taxpayer too much money to fight the challenges against it in court. Sorry poor babies, we don't want to spend the hard work and money to keep you from being slaughtered in your wombs.

Steve....how you do one thing is how you do everything.

Who said he was, and why is that an issue?
Yes, the "Diversified and Tolerant Left" suddenly sees the level of Trump's Christianity as an issue and complains about it not going far enough...HMM...

Let's get the question of abortion straight. It was a REPUBLICAN dominated Supreme Court that ruled on Roe vs. Wade in 1973 (6 Republicans including the Chief Justice and 3 Democrats). https://vox-nova.com/2008/05/21/are-liberal-judges-to-blame-for-roe-v-wade/
There hasn't been any meaningful effort to overturn the Republican abortion decision since then. A lot of talk but no real action. Think about it. This has been a terrific issue for the Republican Party. it has held right-wing "evangelical Christians" in the party for 40 years. Why hasn't anything been done to change this decision? The real question is why politically would the Republican Party WANT to reverse it? It would take away their lock on this sizable group of voters.
And by the way, the larger issue isn't just about abortion. It's about the sanctity of life. Three meaningless wars have been started by the U.S. (Viet Nam, Afghanistan and Iraq) resulting in the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives (one million Vietnamese in that war). Other significant issues Christians should be active on include providing food, shelter and medical care to the poor. Read MAT 25, the best description of the Final Judgement in the Bible, for more insight into this. Which party continually supports raising our military budget while taking away help for the poor?

There's been a lot of action and legislation at the state level, all over the nation. I suggest you get educated on it. Just google Ohio abortion law. Or Texas.

<Trump voice>: "WRONG!"
Delivering on pro-life legislation on the state level has been one of the factors that has caused the Republicans to gain control of most state governorships and state legislatures. Republicans out-and-out control 36 states. I'm afraid you are repeating talking points that were relevant 20 years ago.

And by the way, the larger issue isn't just about abortion. It's about the sanctity of life. Three meaningless wars have been started by the U.S. (Viet Nam, Afghanistan and Iraq) resulting in the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives (one million Vietnamese in that war).

Vietnam War started by democrat JFK, escalated by democrat LBJ, ended by Republican Nixon.

Afghanistan War started by Al Queda with attacks on World Trade Center and Pentagon. This was not a meaningless war, unless you approve of wanton, despicable killing of US civilians with no response.

Iraq War started by George W. Bush, Republican, prematurely "ended" by democrat Obama, giving birth to ISIS.
