"Innocent until proven guilty" or "Guilty until proven innocent"

"Innocent until proven guilty" is not supported by reality. Many people are incarcerated who have not been proven guilty. If after their trial they are found guilty, their circumstances remain the same - they remain incarcerated!

The reality is the incarcerated are "Guilty until prove innocent"!!

That’s why we have a bail system. If the state (prosecutors) convince a judge there is probable cause to bring the case to trial, the judge can still allow the person to post bail until proven guilty.

There can be circumstances where bail is denied, so your statement has merit in those cases.

Peace to you
