I’m not heavens gatekeeper, I’m a hairy arsed donkey of The Lord. It’s not my job, I can only be witness to His Love and Mercy.

Jesus takes over and does as He pleases. If Jesus brings Justice it is perfect, if He brings Mercy it is perfect.

I can only dispose myself to Jesus by punishing self and self will by His Grace, only Jesus can say and do anything that’s worth something.

At handover you don’t ask those things because you know that with Jesus all things are possible.
The final count of the people of God no man can know.

What we can know but not understand, is His Love has no height or depth, His Fire is like His thirst for souls, unquenchable.

I saw Jesus face on a overdosed drug addict in the street. Jesus really does identify completely with us.
“ What you did for the least of these, you did for me “.

Whatever ” least “you can think of, Jesus is there.

We only have the present moment, but Jesus can make Eternity out of a moment.

Our first job is to deny ourselves daily, then lift our particular cross and follow Jesus to the crucifixion and death of self.

There are things we are never privy to here and that is just and good, but Jesus loves His donkeys and we receive His rewards because of His Goodness.

We leave all the big questions in Jesus hands at handover.

When we say Jesus I Love you, Jesus I trust you, we don’t need or want to know the details of others, Jesus knows and that’s what is important.

Jesus understands everyone perfectly however we find them or judge them, let Jesus judge, just carry Jesus to them.

So the emphasis is on speaking in tongues - NOT on those Coming to Christ.

Why should preaching in tongues be the emphasis when those tongues are preaching Christ Jesus?

Jesus is the whole point of the place.

1 John 5:11-13, ". . . And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. . . ."

Thats what I would like to know!

The OP is about the "miracle" of speaking in tounges

I would like to know how many came to Christ!
Dont need an exact number - but..............

Same principle with that "revival" at that college - was anyone saved? What changes happened.

That’s right, no Jesus no life. Jesus tells us. This Life is in the Son.

“ He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise a him up on the last day “

“ Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. “

Only Jesus is pure Life from The Father.

Millions have gone there Salty. There are countless people that have come to Jesus and been healed.

I have been there and can attest to many believing in Jesus as a result.

This is not speaking in tongues as you probably know it.

It is people speaking their own native tongues and being understood in the others language.

" And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. "

" Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. "

" It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. "

I do believe in miracles, but Jesus said it best

    Luke 16:29

if a miracle happens great, but the Word of God converts the soul

    Titus 1:11-13

    I Corinthians 6:11

Seriously?? You and Salty would probably make the top of the list. Not tying to be antagonistic here, but I have read posts regarding apparitions in the past and both of you have had nothing but negative comments regarding them.

I stand by my statement and don't owe you or Salty a list of anti-Catholic posters over the years I've been on this board. You both know what I've said is true. Pull up any threads regarding apparitions of the BVM and add those scoffing and belittling of those who believe they legitimately occurred to your 'list'.
