Don't be silly. Democrats ran Congress during the Reagan terms, as you know. Reagan never wanted half the stuff the Democrats squandered money on. No one wanted what Obama did. And Trump does not want the spending that the Congess is doing now. No wonder Democrats are so rich.

It was split during his first 6 years (Dem House/Rep Senate). During his last two years both houses were controlled by the Democrats. But Reagan got Voodoo economics passed and ran a large deficit mainly due to increased defense spending.
